More Than Just a Ride: The 2025 DGR and a Personal Cause

Losing a good mate Phil, who was a fellow cameraman and motorcyclist to prostate cancer six months ago has made this year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, profoundly personal for myself. Phil was instrumental in helping me start the YouTube channel, always the first to put his hand up to help out filming a story and also starred in one of our very first rider stories.

So this year I'll be riding in memory of Phil and joining countless others across the globe, dapperly dressed, to raise crucial funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health through Movember.

It's a stark reality that men, on average, live six years less than women, often due to preventable causes. The growing number of men facing these challenges demands our attention and action.
