Just checking in to see who's watching what. 😊

🔚 Shows that ended this past week:

**1. Flower Boy**
Short and sweet! An offbeat drama that I really enjoyed. I liked the concept—it wasn't the usual school or university BL. Now I'm eagerly waiting for the next series with Pearl and Peak. Can't wait to see what they have to offer!

**2. The Summer I Kissed You**
I wish they had given us more episodes! Another short but sweet drama with just five episodes. Again, not the typical school or university cliché. The chemistry between the lead pair was really good and definitely made it worth watching.

**3. Fourever You**
I'm going to miss this one the most. I'm hoping we get at least three special episodes—or even better, five—with all five couples. I can't believe we've closed the book on this series.

**4. Love of Silom**
Already missing Up and Poom! I really like their choice of offbeat BL stories. Two series in, and both have been completely different from each other. The story, concept, and performances were all beautifully done.

🛋️ New shows I'm watching:

**1. The Light That Fades**
Every Thursday has become something to look forward to because of this show. I hope the chemistry between the leads continues to shine. I already like the storyline, and since it's set in the 1970s, I'm even more interested. Thailand really knows how to pull off period dramas. Ever since I watched the trailer, it has reminded me of the Korean dramas *Snowdrop* and *Youth of May*.

**2. The Edge on the Horizon**
This is my absolute favourite! I've always admired Ongsa, and the chemistry between Ongsa and Inn is absolutely on fire. 🔥 The storyline is interesting, and of course, there's Pond, who's constantly feeding my creative inspiration.

**3. Fix the Error**
A cute Korean BL. Koreans seem to have an endless love for grim reaper stories, so now we have a BL version! The lead pair is adorable—especially the bottom—and it's definitely worth watching.

**4. Ticket to Heaven**
If it's directed by P'Aof, I'm watching it. I haven't seen every one of his shows, but most of them are pure magic. What he's created with Gem and Fourth is simply too good to miss. Even though it's high school themed, the 1990s setting is what really drew me in. It ends this week, and I'm excited to see how it wraps up.

**5. Dont be too Emotional**
The lead pair chemistry is good. There is a certain sense of mystery about the lead pair and the story that draws you in. Wonder if this is a Introvert falling for an Introvert kind of story .. because the older Jane , Jane Patrick seems to be like a closed off person too. Its intriguing and I am here for that.

📢🔥 NEW SERIES ALERT! 🔥


**The Edge of the Horizon** has officially arrived... and what a first episode!

Ongsa is back, and he is back with a bang. I simply cannot get enough of the chemistry between Ongsa and Inn. Every scene between Highness Tin and Phob feels electric. Whether it's the playful flirting, the possessiveness, the jealousy, or those quieter moments—like Tin applying medicine to Phob or pulling him aside to ask why he's been avoiding him—there is something magical about them that keeps you completely invested.

Ever since his first series, Ongsa has shown a good growth as an actor. With this role, he seems more immersed in his character, and I hope he continues challenging himself because his performances keep getting better. He seems to be graduating in method acting.

And then there's Pond.

Seeing Pond step into a darker, more antagonistic role is one of the most exciting surprises of Episode 1. This feels like a deliberate career choice—an actor wanting to expand his range rather than stay comfortable. Pond is one of those performers who keeps audiences interested because he isn't afraid to experiment with different kinds of characters. If you follow Pond's work you know he stimulates your creative pursuits.

One thing that stood out to me throughout the episode was the constant reminder of status and hierarchy.

*"You are a servant. Know your place."*

Set in 1913, the series repeatedly emphasizes the divide between royalty and servants. At times it felt a little heavy-handed, but perhaps that's intentional. Could this constant conditioning be laying the foundation for Phob's eventual rebellion? Based on what we've seen in the trailers, I can't help but wonder if these experiences are what push him toward challenging the system itself.
Although this is getting me curious to dwell deep into the history of this specific period in Thailand.

And can we talk about that ending?

Did Tin and Phob actually kiss?

Did someone interrupt them?

Did Chat see them kiss, or did he only see them wrapped in each other's arms?

That cliffhanger was absolutely cruel—in the best possible way. 😭

For a premiere episode, The Edge of the Horizon gave us so much to absorb: romance, tension, political undertones, mystery, incredible chemistry, and strong performances from both the leads and supporting cast.

When an episode ends and leaves you thinking, *"I need to know what happens next,"* you know the writers have done their job.

The Edge of the Horizon is here to stay, and I am already counting down the days until Episode 2.

‼️ PS: As much as I would have loved to add some clips to get you interested in the show , I have to say that OneD and One31 are brutal when it comes to Content Id detection and copyright slaps. I assure you guys would not be disappointed with this show ... if period Thai drama is not your vibe , but the chemistry between Inn and Ongsa is worth a watch.

How is everyone doing ?

What was that? What just hit me?

That was exactly my reaction after watching Episode 2 of *Ticket to Heaven*.

After watching Episode 1, I was hoping Episode 2 wouldn't disappoint—and thankfully, it didn't. In fact, it exceeded my expectations.

One of the reasons I wasn't completely satisfied with Episode 1 was because, as someone with the attention span of a goldfish, I found myself getting distracted at times. But Episode 2 had me completely hooked from beginning to end. Every scene flowed naturally into the next, making it impossible to look away.

One thing that stood out in Episode 1 was the technical brilliance behind the cinematography and editing. The way scenes were framed and stitched together was impressive. Two of my favorite moments were the opening scene of Gemini driving to attend the ordination and the beautifully shot sequence of Tanrak and Barth in the empty swimming pool.

Episode 2, however, shifts the focus toward Tanrak and Barth's growing connection, and the result is captivating. Their scenes together are thoughtfully crafted, allowing us to slowly witness the spark between them. I'm sure many of us could feel our hearts racing as we watched the tension, attraction, and curiosity building between these two boys. It is that exciting mix of innocence, affection, and desire that keeps you glued to the screen.

The playful scene at the water taps, where Barth splashes Tanrak and teases him, was one of the highlights of the episode. Equally memorable was the story of the Believer, the Lover, and the Lost One—the puzzle of figuring out who lies and who tells the truth. Watching the boys try to solve it throughout the episode felt like a perfect reflection of teenagers trying to understand themselves and navigate the confusing world around them.

Another standout moment was when Tanrak was teaching Barth and explained, "Lust means letting desires control us."

Barth's response—"What if you can't stop it?"—may very well be the line that defines the entire series.

If you've watched the movie *Your Name Engraved Herein*, you'll probably understand where I think this story may be heading. That single exchange carries so much weight and hints at the emotional conflict that lies ahead.

And can we talk about that nighttime scene?

From Tanrak lifting Barth, to Barth sneaking out and returning with roti, to the lingering glances and the way Tanrak couldn't stop looking at Barth's lips—every moment was executed perfectly. The tension in the air was palpable. The chemistry between Gemini and Fourth felt effortless, and every emotion landed exactly where it needed to.

The scene where Fourth/Tanrak stand in front of the mirror .. the technical details of the short.. a long short with him looking at himself in the mirror .. its like asking himself .. who are you and what is going on in your head...beautiful scene. If i have to rake my brains I dont remember ever watching a mirror scene shot on a long frame. If you guys have seen a similar scene in any show please do share ...:)

A huge round of applause goes to whoever envisioned and directed that sequence. Combined with Gemini and Fourth's performances, and P'Aof's expert direction, the scene became one of the strongest moments of the episode. The balance of longing, restraint, and curiosity was beautifully portrayed, and I have no doubt audiences loved every second of it.

I honestly cannot wait for Episode 3.

I've heard there are only six episodes, which makes me both excited and nervous because this story is already pulling me in.

(Another day and another copyright issue. Its really bad on YT, while I see 1000s of videos same as mine but mine get axed. So posting my review here)

Sad to see a beautiful date night and promises of love turn into resentment and pain. The heartbreak and resentment continue throughout the episode.

With Ray and Mekin revealing the reason Scent stayed close to Gaysorn, resentment begins to build in Gaysorn’s heart.

Do you think Ray and Mekin should have interfered?

Gaysorn feels betrayed. Since he no longer feels the same love towards Scent, he loses his fragrance whenever Scent approaches him. Gaysorn decides to return to the mountains, while Scent, on the other hand, faces the wrath of his uncle for letting Gaysorn leave.

Ray and Mekin take Gaysorn back to the mountains… but are they really playing the role of the good guys here? 👀

The story around Gaysorn’s father’s death and the letter his mother received doesn’t add up. When Gaysorn investigates further, he realizes that his mother was called to Bangkok four years after his father’s death.

A flashback scene reveals that the letter was typed and sent by Scent’s uncle.

We already knew that Scent’s father had a stroke… but now I’m wondering — did Scent’s uncle have something to do with the stress that led to it?

Scent shares documents about Gaysorn’s father, and Gaysorn discovers that the letter sent to his mother came from Kusuma Perfumes.

Ray and Mekin volunteer to investigate for Gaysorn, while a heartbroken Scent simultaneously begins digging for answers himself.

As the story gets murkier, the episode ends by leaving us with a lot of questions, making us want to connect the dots and solve the puzzle ourselves.

The story is definitely moving forward — slowly paced, but we are getting there. Although personally, I still feel it falls a little short when it comes to holding the audience’s attention consistently.

Let’s see how the future episodes play out.

“You are my world,” says Gaysorn… and Scent follows it with, “You are my world too.”

In today’s time, people would probably scream that they’re moving too fast. But love has never had a fixed pace. Some people fall fast, while others take the slower route… but at the end of the day, it’s still love.



The episode unfolds with Scent convincing Gaysorn that the handkerchief carrying his sweat was only because he wanted to recreate Gaysorn’s fragrance and keep a part of him close — especially if Gaysorn ever decides to return to the Mudan tribe. Scent also decides not to recreate Gaysorn’s scent anymore, a decision that clearly leaves his uncle displeased.



Later, his uncle takes both Scent and Gaysorn to meet Scent’s father. Interestingly, Scent’s dad reacts abnormally — almost with excitement — before his condition worsens for a while.



Scent and Gaysorn then begin searching for details about the perfume named Bussaba, the fragrance that catapulted Kusuma to the top of the perfume industry. Uncle finally reveals the truth about Pruek’s death. After getting Pruek’s address, Scent and Gaysorn visit the house where he once lived. While searching through the place, they discover photographs of Bussaba and Pruek, leading Gaysorn to fear that his mother may also be dead.



On the other side, Ray is visibly frustrated that Kusuma still hasn’t provided any updates regarding the new perfume.


Meanwhile, Scent steps out to buy gifts for Gaysorn, wanting to prepare a special dinner celebration. During the evening, Scent finally confesses his love, and Gaysorn wholeheartedly reciprocates.



And just when everything feels perfect… there’s a knock on the door.



Gaysorn opens it.



The next scene cuts to Scent returning, only to find Gaysorn missing — sending him into complete panic.



This episode had some beautifully done VFX, especially the butterfly sequences. I also realized that one of the directors of Flower Boy is A Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod, who also directed The Sign starring Billy Patchanon Ounsa-ard and Babe Tanatat Phanviriyakool. No wonder the VFX feels polished without becoming overpowering or fake-looking.



The lighting in this series continues to be brilliant and adds so much to the mood of every scene. The close-up shots and wide-angle shots work like magic during the romantic moments. And a special mention has to go to the set designer for Scent’s house — the attention to detail in the home décor is genuinely impressive.

FLOWER BOY Ep 5.

(YT is blocking my videos on Flower Boy.. so posting it here until my dispute is resolved)


Red Flag or Green Flag… I guess we now have an Orange Flag — and that is Scent. :)



Scent, by far, seems like one of the most complex characters in the BL world right now. Torn between his love for Gaysorn and his loyalty towards his father and the company, he’s not someone you can easily define.

You can’t really pin his character down to one specific personality type, and that’s what makes him so interesting. He constantly leaves the audience wondering what his next move will be.



Whoever decided to add those golden specks whenever Gaysorn emits his scent deserves appreciation :) It adds such a dreamy and romantic touch to the scenes.



This episode once again delivered impeccable cinematography, especially scenes in the park and romantic scenes between Gaysorn and Scent. Whether it was the kisses, the bedroom scene, or the poolside moments, every frame created the perfect ambience for the audience to truly enjoy their romance.



From *Love in the Moonlight* to *Flower Boy* , you really have to appreciate Peak and Pearl  for being consistently good with their performances. They genuinely bring Gaysorn and Scent to life.



Peak does an amazing job portraying the innocent mountain boy, especially during the scene where Gaysorn admits he can’t read Ray’s apology note and asks Scent to teach him about city life so he can be useful to him. Pearl, on the other hand, carries Scent's emotional conflict beautifully.

His expressions — whether it’s when Gaysorn’s scent draws him in or when he shows care and concern for Gaysorn while still balancing the manipulative businessman side of Scent — perfectly capture the character’s complexity.



The episode ends with Gaysorn asking Scent why the handkerchief with his sweat is inside the bag. I’m really curious to see what explanation Scent gives him, especially since the preview for Episode 5 shows the two of them happily enjoying time together at the beach.
