If you read my last post, you know I took a short break from making videos. I’ve read all your comments and opinions, and I want to thank everyone who showed so much love and support.

I’m excited to announce that SVT NEWS will be back soon! It won't be immediately, but likely in about two weeks. I’ll be dropping a batch of videos summarizing all the news from this past month because there is so much to catch up on, especially several controversies surrounding the members that I really want to address and clarify with you all.

Additionally, I’ve officially opened an Instagram account where I’ll be posting news updates and announcements! You can find the direct link to the Instagram page in my channel's bio/links. It would mean so much to me if you could go give it a follow and share it with other Carats!

Hello everyone, seventeenguide here,

I’m writing this because I’ve reached my limit, and I think it’s important to give you an honest update on where things stand.

As many of you know, this channel started out of pure love for a group I deeply admire. In my free time, I wanted to create a passion project: a documentary series covering SEVENTEEN's history, both as a group and individually. However, making documentaries takes an immense amount of time. Balancing that with college and my jobs made it incredibly difficult.

To help make the channel sustainable, I decided to enable monetization and introduced "SVT NEWS" to provide weekly summaries. While many of you have been incredibly supportive from day one, the amount of negative comments has steadily increased. It has now gotten to the point where the channel is receiving a high volume of user reports. I am genuinely worried that YouTube might take action against the channel and that all the content we’ve built here could be lost.

I want to gently remind everyone that I am SIMPLY a fan, nothing more. I am NOT a role model, nor is it my job to "set an example" of what a fan should look like. If you don't enjoy my content, that is completely valid; YouTube is a massive platform, and you can easily find a community that fits your preferences. But please, stop commenting things like "this isn't how you should act" "change this" "change that" or "don't talk about that topic", I’ve mentioned this before on Twitter, but I am not the type of fan who hides information just because "haters might see it." I make videos to inform, whether the situation is positive or negative, with the hope that the comment section can serve as an open forum for discussion.

Regarding upcoming content: I will finish and upload the SVT NEWS episodes covering the updates up until July 7th, as those scripts are already in progress. After that, I will be stepping away from making news videos until I am in a better, more stable place to do so.

I don't have a privileged life; I need to work to support myself, and I can no longer dedicate days of my life to YouTube for free. To address the comments accusing me of "creating cheap drama for a few dollars," please know that to this day, I haven't received a single dollar from this channel. That is actually the main reason why I haven't been able to make progress on Jeonghan's documentary film, which I would have loved to finish months ago. The money I hoped to earn from the news section was meant to directly fund the main group documentary and the members' individual projects.

At this point, continuing with the videos is no longer sustainable for me, not physically, mentally, or financially. As much as I love creating, I cannot keep going like this.

With that being said, during this break, I hope to redirect my focus and energy toward Jeonghan's documentary so I can finally publish it as soon as possible.

If you read this far, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To everyone who has supported this channel, you have no idea how much that means to me. I just wanted to let you know that there won’t be any new videos for a while.

Please keep supporting all the boys' individual projects. They have been working overwhelmingly hard to push out so much content for us for these next two years without SEVENTEEN.

WOOOW CARATSSS!!! The S.Coups documentary reached 50K views in just a few weeks 🥹 You have no idea how happy it makes me to see more people discovering his story and understanding why so many recognize him as such an incredible leader.

I wanted to use this post to share a few updates:

- I’m currently working on the script for Jeonghan’s documentary, so please look forward to it!! 🤍 If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s a post on the community tab from a few weeks ago where you can share your favorite things about Jeonghan — I don’t want to miss anything for this video, so you still have time to leave your comments!

- I’d love your help with thumbnail ideas! I’m looking for an iconic photo of Jeonghan that really captures his personality and elegance. Preferably in HD or 4K. If you have any suggestions, you can leave links here or contact me through Gmail, TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter — all my socials are in the channel description.

-Once again, thank you so much for the support on the SVT NEWS videos. Those are currently the only monetized videos on the channel, and they help fund the tools and programs I use to create the main documentary and individual guides. I still haven’t been able to access those earnings due to some YouTube-related issues, but I’m hoping to resolve it in the coming months.
