Hello all again! I’ve got 2 new (well, sorta) videos out on the 2nd channel that I haven’t used much so far.
First, for the people who like my videos on non-english music, this video is me more casually running through 15ish new album recommendations for foreign music. Some from countries that I’ve already covered, but mostly from new ones. France, China, South Africa, Germany, Taiwan, Philippines, etc.
The second video is a rerecording of the Mitsuru Adachi video from the main channel. The original is remaining up, but I was just never fully satisfied with the quality of the audio in that video, so I redid that and made a few other tweaks. Yes this is a very normal thing for me to spend my time doing. Youtubers ALL THE TIME remake their own videos to fix issues that literally not a single person commented on, it happens everyday. Thank you.
Anyways, just made another post announcing a patreon, and the main channel has a new video coming tomorrow, see you then.

Just the one tier, $2 a month for more consistent updates and other writings that I’ll do every 1-2 months. Very open to ideas on what to do with this overall to make it worth something, but for now it’s just that (and also a goal that should we get to 50 patrons then I’ll make a video on the 2nd channel going through all 650+ CDs in my collection). Currently have a post up explaining the 2 videos I’m working on currently, and a post yapping about what all my favorite things from last year were.
So that’s what I got. If you wanna join, cool. If you don’t, then also cool (though slightly less so).

If anyone is interested, I had been watching some videos where people cut together their 100 favorite songs and I thought that'd be a fun thing to do so I did indeed do that and made a new 2nd channel to put it on. There's no commentary, just cut together clips of the songs. Here ya go

Second, this wasn't the only video I've been working on during this time. Well under way editing another that's of similar size, and I had actually started writing it before the Korean music one. Won't jinx myself and give an expected release for that, but, yknow, certainly not 8 months from now
And third, given that, I'll say that I don't plan on the channel becoming one that only does hour plus long videos. It just worked out that these 2 in a row will be, and like geez man they're hard work, I hope stuff after that is shorter.
Aha yes at last I have just about finished the next video................ script!!! Somehow I underestimated how much there would be to say about Korean music history, and now I get to struggle to find the visuals to use for it all over the course of the next month (maybe? Month and a half? 2 months? 5? Idk see you whenever it happens)
Ok, so that I can't change my mind and keep making adjustments much longer; Saturday, a new video finally comes out. It's about a manga author and is probably the single video I've most wanted to make since I started. Back to music talk with the video after that.
I was pretty consistent with videos for a while but now I'm slower and idk how much longer that'll be so here's an update
Ended up zeroing in on writing 2 videos that have taken a long time because one of them will by far be my longest video, and the other has been particularly difficult to word my thoughts on, but those scripts are almost done... but I also never wanted either of them to be my next video so both of those will soon be put to the side for a little bit, whoops. Only this month will I probably start writing the actual next video, unless I change my mind on what that one should be for the 4th time.
I've also been reading 20th Century Boys which has distracted me. It's really good. Really really really good. I'm gonna read more of it now
An actual next video teaser since I know a chunk of people have already said they wanna see a video related to this. Mostly written now, probably done this month, and hopefully it's good.
