Update time! Been a while since I've done one of these.
Hi, everyone! Hope you're . . . surviving? I'm certainly trying. So long as my new job continues to support me, I'm very grateful with where I am now. Big things going on in my personal life, but you don't care! Nor should you. I just want to talk about my upcoming projects a little bit;
-Next video (which should be by the end of this month) is all about the F-Zero franchise. A series I have a deep fondness for, and this is a script I've been working on-an-off for since 2019 or so. But now that it's completely done, I'm ecstatic about it! I'm still tooling here and there, but game capturing is almost done which means I'll be able to get to editing very shortly! The video is looking to be pretty long too, as I always fall into this trap. It covers every single mainline game as well as some others, hope you'll enjoy it when it comes out!
-The video project after that will be the most daunting, probably. I won't go into specifics, but it's going to take me a while to release it, as it's planned to be a 4-part (maybe 5) video series. And I intend to have all those videos ready and released around the same time within a month. I'm extremely excited to get started on that, but I need to bide my time for specific reasons, you'll see!

Update time! I can't believe so many people tuned into my little video about Dead Rising DR! I didn't know so many still cared about my thoughts on Dead Rising 🥹 My people! My zomboes! 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟
You can bet your brisket that I'll review DR DR sometime in September! I still have my qualms, but there's more excitement for this remaster project than anything else! Nothing will ever replace the perfection that is the original game in my eyes, but I'm still looking forward to what they have in store! I also have other DR-related projects planned to celebrate the new game even more! Details on that as we get closer to the launch of Deluxe Remaster!
Anyway, as for immediate next plans, I'm hard at work editing my video analysis for Flower, Sun, and Rain! Expect it in the coming weeks, still on time for summer fun ⛱️ It's gonna be a hoot 🌺 🌞 🌧️

Hi everyone, figured this was significant enough to post a little update here, thanks for watching my latest video! I have a lot of thoughts about remakes and remasters, and it felt good being able to describe some of those thoughts in a video, while also teasing a bit on how I've analyzed Flower, Sun, and Rain (game capture and script is 100% done, still have to do the voice recording, but I'm doing menial editing in the meantime).
Feels especially appropriate talking about remakes and such because I guess Dead Rising 1 is being remade???? I know they're calling it a remaster and . . . I guess we'll get into that. I know I said the Flower, Sun, and Rain analysis video would be next, but plans have changed (like I said they could). I'm most likely going to make a video talking about the upcoming preview of DR: DR on July 1st.
I'm apprehensive and interested and annoyed and excited and . . . Ambivalent. Still, this is much more interesting than anything else they've done with Dead Rising in almost a decade, so all I can be at the moment is hopeful. With that said, expect a short video talking about this remake and what I'm expecting, probably a few days after the Capcom Showcase. I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

As I teased at the end of my last video, I got to do a 45 minute interview with Suda51 himself during PAX EAST 2024 (which I did essentially nothing else except eat a food truck waffle and lurk around the Grasshopper booth like a gremlin with AdrianVG).
Of course, with a translator, you have to consider my time with Suda is basically cut in half. While I didn't get to go through all my questions, we still had a great conversation and I think I got to hear some neat little bits about the original development times for Shadows of the Damned!
This interview is going to be a separate video, which should be out within a few days. I got the whole thing together in a timeline (vid is gonna be like 30 min long), I just need to capture an extra bit of footage and clean up the interview audio to my best ability.
Thanks everyone for supporting me! This opportunity to talk to the man himself wouldn't have been possible without you all watching, sharing, and engaging with my work. You all rock!

As for 2024, I've got a ton more videos planned, and all I'll say is a good amount of them are more personal takes. If you watched my "I freakin' love . . . Metal Slug" video, it's closer to something like that. Honestly, next year looks like it'll be kind of packed, considering I definitely want to cover upcoming games like Shadows Remastered, Lollipops Chainsaw RePop, etc. We'll see what I can do!

First of all, thanks to everyone that watched my Hi-Fi Rush video! I knew I was gonna come off as kind of a dick, but it was honestly fun making the video like that. While I don't disavow anything I stated in it, I get it wasn't everyone's cup of tea, and . . . Idunno, thanks for not unsubscribing? lol I guess what I'm saying is I didn't want to pull any punches or hold back my most honest thoughts. And the fact that not EVERYONE in the comments told me to Game Over myself means at least some folks got what I was going for, even if they disagreed. So, thanks again!
Anyway, what is up next? Something I've finally gained the confidence to pursue, a video analysis on The Silver Case! I'm still not sure how long the whole thing will be, but it's looking to be at least 2 hours! Writing and capturing are almost completely done! This has honestly been a very daunting task. I've wanted to make a proper video essay on the game for years, but was kind of nervous about it . . . Still am. As you can see, I mostly analyze action games here! However, I think I've got a good idea of what this game is about and am excited to show everyone what I think of this amazing crime thriller piece!
I got a lot of original art commissioned for it too, such as the third pic of this community post. Drawn by the talented Doctor Grambo! I'm not sure what the release date is looking like, but I'll have a chunky preview ready for $5 patrons pretty soon!
