Sorry for the lack of videos lately, I've been very busy with IRL stuff, but also working on an extensive analysis series! Some of you can probably guess what it is. I aim to have this release by the end of the year, and it's going to be parted into 5 separate videos. Most of which I want ready around the same time so I can release each one shortly after another. All before this year ends!

He'll be playing No More Heroes 1 as I talk his ear off about the narrative, nuance, symbolism, and blah blah blah etc. It should be a lot of fun! It's going to be two sessions later today, as well as tomorrow at the same time!
Also, I'm sure folks are wondering what I think about Romeo Is a Dead Man. The skinny of it, looks great! If you want me to go deep into the trailer itself, I made a big Tumblr post about it. I'd consider a video, but am far too busy with IRL stuff at the moment, so making this was just far easier. The post below is basically a video written out with visual citations. Check it out!

I'm also streaming right here on YouTube in about 10 minutes to celebrate by playing a bunch of F-Zero games and finishing my rewatch of the anime series. Try to come by if you can!

Hi, everyone! Hope you're . . . surviving? I'm certainly trying. So long as my new job continues to support me, I'm very grateful with where I am now. Big things going on in my personal life, but you don't care! Nor should you. I just want to talk about my upcoming projects a little bit;
-Next video (which should be by the end of this month) is all about the F-Zero franchise. A series I have a deep fondness for, and this is a script I've been working on-an-off for since 2019 or so. But now that it's completely done, I'm ecstatic about it! I'm still tooling here and there, but game capturing is almost done which means I'll be able to get to editing very shortly! The video is looking to be pretty long too, as I always fall into this trap. It covers every single mainline game as well as some others, hope you'll enjoy it when it comes out!
-The video project after that will be the most daunting, probably. I won't go into specifics, but it's going to take me a while to release it, as it's planned to be a 4-part (maybe 5) video series. And I intend to have all those videos ready and released around the same time within a month. I'm extremely excited to get started on that, but I need to bide my time for specific reasons, you'll see!

Update time! I can't believe so many people tuned into my little video about Dead Rising DR! I didn't know so many still cared about my thoughts on Dead Rising 🥹 My people! My zomboes! 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟
You can bet your brisket that I'll review DR DR sometime in September! I still have my qualms, but there's more excitement for this remaster project than anything else! Nothing will ever replace the perfection that is the original game in my eyes, but I'm still looking forward to what they have in store! I also have other DR-related projects planned to celebrate the new game even more! Details on that as we get closer to the launch of Deluxe Remaster!
Anyway, as for immediate next plans, I'm hard at work editing my video analysis for Flower, Sun, and Rain! Expect it in the coming weeks, still on time for summer fun ⛱️ It's gonna be a hoot 🌺 🌞 🌧️

Hi everyone, figured this was significant enough to post a little update here, thanks for watching my latest video! I have a lot of thoughts about remakes and remasters, and it felt good being able to describe some of those thoughts in a video, while also teasing a bit on how I've analyzed Flower, Sun, and Rain (game capture and script is 100% done, still have to do the voice recording, but I'm doing menial editing in the meantime).
Feels especially appropriate talking about remakes and such because I guess Dead Rising 1 is being remade???? I know they're calling it a remaster and . . . I guess we'll get into that. I know I said the Flower, Sun, and Rain analysis video would be next, but plans have changed (like I said they could). I'm most likely going to make a video talking about the upcoming preview of DR: DR on July 1st.
I'm apprehensive and interested and annoyed and excited and . . . Ambivalent. Still, this is much more interesting than anything else they've done with Dead Rising in almost a decade, so all I can be at the moment is hopeful. With that said, expect a short video talking about this remake and what I'm expecting, probably a few days after the Capcom Showcase. I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

As I teased at the end of my last video, I got to do a 45 minute interview with Suda51 himself during PAX EAST 2024 (which I did essentially nothing else except eat a food truck waffle and lurk around the Grasshopper booth like a gremlin with AdrianVG).
Of course, with a translator, you have to consider my time with Suda is basically cut in half. While I didn't get to go through all my questions, we still had a great conversation and I think I got to hear some neat little bits about the original development times for Shadows of the Damned!
This interview is going to be a separate video, which should be out within a few days. I got the whole thing together in a timeline (vid is gonna be like 30 min long), I just need to capture an extra bit of footage and clean up the interview audio to my best ability.
Thanks everyone for supporting me! This opportunity to talk to the man himself wouldn't have been possible without you all watching, sharing, and engaging with my work. You all rock!
