Less than a week since the Black Square video essay and it's already gotten many warm responses. I can't promise I'll make more videos like it, though the reaction is motivating!
I've just updated my portfolio website yovozol.com/ - there is a new tab dedicated to "artworks" - and all my commissions are presented in a more straightforward manner than is possible on YouTube or Instagram. If you want a more holistic picture of me, this is where to go. As of writing I am open to new work and design inquiries for this year.

The winter solstice has passed, the year has nearly ended, and I just uploaded a quick recap edit of the fall I tour I put so much of my energy into https://youtu.be/5CEOKvYxabM
Lovejoy OST visuals without a doubt are my best work in the music-visualization realm. Now I look forward to 2026 opportunities and I hope that will include working with a new client or two in a similar fashion.
This month I also recorded five solo demos of songs I wrote this year, just as I did for 2023 and 2024. I hope to upload those to this channel/soundcloud/bandcamp sometime around the turn of the year. Those can be viewed youtube.com/playlist?list=PLV... so don't be surprised when you see five videos uploaded at the same time later 🙂

I just did a show in Portland and @bpmcglitch came to watch - a big honor for me considering that it's his devices I heavily used in the process of making the new Lovejoy visuals. Just copped the V-02HD and I look forward to integrating it into my workflow this winter!

Oh my gawd I just did a show in Boston last night. I displayed a bunch of my never-before-seen visuals behind @Lovejoyonline . Now I'm in Montreal for the same thing again. Then 25 more shows across Canada & USA til the end of November. I'm doing a thing called touring. Yes that means YOU can meet me in real life if you live in any of the cities on the 5th slide, just like a homie did on the 4th slide. I don't want to hear any "oH iF OnLy I kNeW yOu WeRe iN My cITy" bs. This is one of multiple recent cries to the void where I'm telling you!!!
