Reggie Bannister
(Sept 29th 1945 - Aug 9th 2026)
We lost another horror icon this weekend.
Reggie Bannister who played Reggie the ice cream man in the classic Phantasm franchise & the only original cast member besides Angus Scrimm to appear in all of the Phantasm films past away this past Sunday August 9th he was 80.
Reggie had alot to do with the comedy relief & alot of the fun that some of the later entries had in the series. Pretty much becoming the Ash Williams of the franchise.
Reggie is a true horror legend adored by many horror fans.
R.I.P Reggie & thank u for being a part of my childhood, my teen years, my young adulthood, my middle age years & even now. U will be missed!!!
