This ski season saw MULTIPLE chairlift failures across the globe!
From chairs DETACHING and falling to the ground at Attitash and Spain's Astún resort, to a fatal wind-related accident at Red Lodge, Montana.
Most dramatic? 240 skiers left DANGLING in freezing temperatures at Superdévoluy, France after an electrical failure. The rescue took HOURS!
Is aging lift infrastructure to blame? Many of these lifts were 30+ years old with maintenance issues. A wake-up call for resorts worldwide!
