Did you know?
Saudia Flight 163, while successfully executing an emergency landing after a fire broke out on board, tragically became the fifth deadliest aviation accident in history. Although the Lockheed L-1011-200 landed safely at Riyadh Air Base, all 301 passengers and crew perished due to smoke inhalation as the fire continued to rage. The fire originated from a butane stove in the baggage hold, eventually burning through the cabin floor and causing passengers to crowd at the front and rear of the aircraft.
