There’s something I’ve been sitting with and I feel it’s time to share.

For a long time, many of us turned away from God. Not because we didn’t believe, but because of how God was represented.

Judgment.
Hypocrisy.
Control.
Hate in the name of something that was supposed to be love.

And so we distanced ourselves.

We found “spirituality.”
Energy. Alignment. The universe.
Something that felt safer… more loving… more accepting.

But here’s the truth I’m coming to terms with:

In trying to get away from the distortion
we may have also distanced ourselves from the Source.

We stopped saying “God.”
We avoided it. Rebranded it. Softened it.

And somewhere along the way, it became easier to say:
“I am God” or simply “I AM” than to actually live in relationship with God.

But being “created in His image” doesn’t mean we replace Him.
It means we reflect God.

And if I’m being completely honest,
spiritual spaces aren’t free from hypocrisy either.

We speak of love, but avoid Truth.
We speak of alignment, but avoid responsibility.
We reject religion for its flaws while ignoring our own.

This isn’t about going backward.
And it’s not about judgment.

It’s about returning to what’s real.

For me, that means reconnecting with God. Not through fear, not through doctrine, but through truth, and actually living it.

Not just talking about it. Not just feeling it.
Living it.
