So after much internal deliberation, I have decided to shift the focus of my content ever so slightly. Wednesday will now become a video game video regularly. I WILL still make D&D content but it is now going to be on an irregular basis done at my leisure. I still fully intend to finish MMA and am looking at revamping some series and creating new ones. My aim is to better focus my channel as channels that handle a single topic tend to do better and to ease my workload as MMA is currently a work intensive series to make week to week. So my apologies to subscribers here solely for my D&D content.

Looking for input from my audience. Which of the following would you prefer if I wanted to change up the scheduling of my content?

Good news everyone! I got my nice tax return which is enough to where I can afford some better sound equipment including a new mic and hopefully a sound board for better sound quality. I was considering splurging for a proper tower computer instead of my old gaming laptop but that is not currently viable with my current finances. Hopefully within a year or so if things can swing my way a little more. Chance Rando should take up my channel for quite some time though so hopefully by then I can get a new tower and start doing things like streaming, having better recording and processing quality, and even doing beefier games like Baldur's Gate 3. But as always thank you for your continued support and viewership, and all the things that make you awesome.

Just an update for Half-Life. I recorded next week’s video and once again found myself getting more frustrated than I would like. After recording it I looked up the thing I was stuck on and realized just how much of the game I had left (maybe 25-35% if I had to guess). I decided that I frankly did not want to play Half-Life any more for reasons I have voiced previously and do so again in the next couple videos. Rather than slogging through a game I have developed a dislike for, I decided to immediately film a finale in which I make liberal use of console commands to go through the game with minimal annoyances. So Half-Life will soon be coming to an end. But I couldn’t bring myself to properly play a game that was only irritating me and I doubt that’s what you guys want to see. So post Half-Life our schedule will look like the following:

Sunday: Adventures of Chance Rando
Wednesday: D&D content
Saturday: Stardew Valley

Next At Bat: Star Trucker

Other Games: Sonic Adventure DX

Thank you to all my watchers and subscribers and as always keep doing what makes you awesome.

So I have given it some more thought. I don't feel as bad for putting Adventures of Chance Rando on hiatus because Half-Life seems like it will be a fairly quick game. What I do feel bad for is all my plans for AFTER Chance Rando finishes up because Fallout 4 is a game where even 30-45 min episodes once a week will take months to complete. But here's what I think I will do. Sunday will continue to be the main series (currently Half-Life). But what I will do for Chance Rando and the series that come after it is I will also do irregular videos. These will be whatever I feel like playing with a weighted preference towards the series that's next up to bat (currently Chance Rando) but can also be things that will help me take advantage of the algorithm. There will be no set schedule for these videos and I will play them when I want, record it, edit it, and upload it when convenient. This should help alleviate my feelings of burnout while still delivering a wider variety of video game content to you.

So after giving it some thought I have decided that the fourth video a week did not work out. While I was able to do so and keep to schedule, it did take a lot more of my time than I would have liked even with shorter episodes. As a result The Adventures of Chance Rando is going on hiatus until Half-Life is complete and then it will take the Sunday slot. The rest of the series will continue as normal with a D&D video every Wednesday and Stardew Saturdays. I do have one more unedited Chance Rando video I will edit and post on a Thursday. Sorry this experiment did not work as I hoped. Keep doing what makes you awesome.

Apparently I forgot or mistakenly did not make my Thanksgiving special public. This has been corrected and should now be available. Sorry for any confusion.

Ok there has been a slight change in plans for the channel. I was going to use December as a trial run to see if I could feasibly do a third video game slot. So I started playing Eye of the Beholder and to be honest I don’t think it’s good series material. Mostly because half an hour in I got lost and couldn’t find my way to an area I recognized. So I am going to remove it as a main series and instead get ready for my Fallout 4 challenge run. Now it is still experimental and if it ends up being too much in December I will put FO4 on hiatus until Half-Life finishes up before continuing. But I am optimistic since I am currently ahead of my recording schedule by a week or two. I will still try and put Eye of the Beholder on the channel but it will likely be a one off of some type to see how far I can get. Keep doing what makes you all awesome.

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know that I’ve joined Bluesky in an effort to promote the channel. Never really had twitter or was big on social media so this will be a new experience for me. Hope to see you all there bsky.app/profile/xecryo.bsky.social

Good news everyone! Next week you will get not one, not two, but three Talos Principle videos next week! Why? Well I have effectively beat the game. There are technically some more things I can do in the game but nothing that would drastically change the ending of the game. My intent was initially to 100% the game as I go but as I am human and doing a blind play through (save for a few moments where I got stuck and had to look things up) I naturally missed some things. I was also going to initially do the DLC as well but from what I understand it has a significant difficulty spike and I don't want every episode to be me yelling at my computer before looking it up and finishing it the next episode. So I am going to officially close the chapter on Talos Principle and, if there is a demand for it, I will 100% the game by looking up what I missed and where. But if that will be it's own project. But as I said a week into the start of this channel I have a surprise blind play through planned next and that is......HALF-LIFE. So look forward to that but that leaves our Sunday Series as follows:

Half-Life (Blind Play Through)
Eye of the Beholder (D&D Gold Box Game)
Fallout 4 Challenge Run
Star Trucker
