BEHOLD!

Presidents Play Banjo-Kazooie Episode 03 (Clanker's Cavern) will release on Wednesday, September 3rd in the evening, approximately (EST).

Notice: This one is a little different than other episodes. It is setup like a whodunnit—don't worry, no one died—but there will be a mystery central to the plot of this episode. Bush will step in as detective to help solve it. All of what you expect in a normal episode will be there, it's just told between flashbacks and present time discussion. I looooove detective fiction the likes of Agatha Christie or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, so if you do, too, or you just enjoy a good mystery, this is especially for you! There may be a tinge of Death Note and Ace Attorney influence as well. As promised, it is something like 30 to 40 minutes. After all the drama with voices being banned and unbanned, I'm glad to finally be releasing this.

Oh...and one of the three boys did it. For sure. But who? And what did they do? 🔍

Dunno if y'all have heard via other creators in the AI presidents realm:

Our voices got cooked again.

I used ElevenLabs for Episodes 1-12 of the Presidents Play Super Mario 64 series. Later that same day after I uploaded Episode 12, ElevenLabs nuked all presidents voices.

After that, most of us moved to either PlayHT or Voxbox. I moved to Voxbox and have been using it since. I actually like it better than ElevenLabs.

The other day, Voxbox nuked (most) presidents voices. In my case, my Trump still works (go figure) but the rest are toast. And as for PlayHT users, they've recently been informed that their software will be discontinued by the end of the year. So neither of these are viable options for the future, for one reason or another.

We creators are scrambling to find solutions to keep bringing you guys great content. Some are searching for another online solution, but many of us fear that any of those will eventually fall to the same fate as the others.

So, personally, I'm looking into an option that is locally hosted. It involves some insane installation shenanigans and compatibility stuff, but, should it all work out, then I won't have to worry about my voices getting nuked ever again.

Bear with me while I figure this stuff out. I've already gone out and gotten a new graphics card just to be capable of running this AI stuff locally and I'm already running into more compatibility issues with that 😂

I'll keep you updated. Thank you as always for sticking around and making all of this worth it. I can't wait to get Episode 3 out there - I'm seriously excited about it and was bummed when my workflow got unceremoniously interrupted.

Hello, Cactus Fam!

Apologies for the delays on Episode 03 of Banjo-Kazooie. I am trying out a new story idea for this episode. It's taking me a little longer as it requires more editing than usual and more consideration about how to piece it together. As a result, it's turning out to be longer than the average 20-minute episodes this series has had thus far. I estimate 1-2 weeks left before it's ready—and I treasure your continued patience like a trove cove 🏴‍☠️

I am very excited to share it when it's done. We will do a premiere, so look out for my announcement if you would like to join me for the viewing!

And after that, we'll have the first supercut of this series—which should be over an hour long!

Also, a quick note on Biden's cancer diagnosis: I will NOT be referencing that at all in my work as it is a very sensitive topic. Some creators have chosen to weave it into their story line (respectfully, I will say) but I am choosing to leave it out entirely. I wish former president Biden a swift recovery and my thoughts are with him and his family.
