One thing I'm realizing is that I simply am very bad at understanding why people like certain images in "those" specific ways lol. This was the thumbnail for a recent short and people really, really liked this art. The art is well drawn and it fit the theme so I used it as a thumbnail and understood that it was mildly alluring cause of the dialog. But man people really really liked it. I'm so cooked, I just don't get it, not really. Probably half the reason why I keep getting nuked by YT. I just don't get "it"

Man, I just figured out how YT squishes my thumbnails which has been going on since I started my channel. When I upload a thumbnail that's smaller than 1280 x 720 px on the backend side of things, it shows black bars on the sides, like in the second image. However, when it shows on my channel page it is squished in to fill the gaps and leaves the text half off the screen like in image 1. Idk why it took me so long to realize this. :pain:
