Before the Garden of Eden, Satan made his move. He wanted the throne of heaven. He wanted to be God. But what did that get him?
Jesus said:
➡️ “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” (Luke 10:18)
Thrown down. Cast out. But still scheming.
Then came Genesis 3.
This time, Satan didn’t go after the throne—he went after something even more precious. God’s children.
In the Garden, he twisted the truth, led Adam and Eve into rebellion, and thought he had won. But what did that get him?
His destruction.
Because this time, God didn’t just cast him out—He declared war.
⚔️ “He will crush your head, and you will strike His heel.” (Genesis 3:15)
The moment Satan deceived Adam and Eve, God set a plan into motion—one that would crush him forever. The plan had a name: Jesus Christ.
Satan’s arrogance got him thrown from heaven. But messing with God’s children? That got him defeated.
Genesis 3 isn’t just about the fall—it’s about the beginning of Satan’s end.
🔥 God didn’t hesitate. He didn’t retreat. He set a course for redemption that could not be stopped.
This is the love of God. Fierce. Relentless. Unshakable.

Working on Genesis by Video. And I had this thought.---Have you ever had one of those "OH NO!!!" moments where you knew you just blew it? --You might be having that today.-- Don't sweat it.-- Our grandparents Adam and Eve had that same moment in the book of Genesis. And get this --> Here in this moment we see the greatest of God! He didn't get all irate and go into rage mode against His kids. (you and me) He just simply looks at Satan and says "yeah I am sending my Son....He is gonna crush your head!" ---BOOM--- That is God folks. We make a complete mess out of life and He is there -- open handed to clean it up with Jesus! You just got to love this guy! --> This is the story of Genesis AND its the story of our lives if we are completely honest. 🙂 Let's face it. Genesis is a mess. A complete train wreck at times because it represents us! YET -->> a loving and patient God is always there to pick up the pieces and glue the china doll that we are back together! --> That is called redemption! --> That is called God! That is who HE IS! He is all about relationship. He is all about picking the pieces back up. He truly is there for you and HE IS FOR YOU! Know that to be true. Be blessed! Dave
