A long time ago, I made a video talking about a possibility of Acura ARX-06 to join WEC potentially for the 2025 season, what it didn't happen. But recently with rumors about Honda to finally joining the WEC top class in 2027, probably with Inter Europol Competition, the things seemed to have changed.

Today let's remember the last time that a DP prototype won in overall in 2015 by Chip Ganassi Racing with the Riley MkXXVI - Ford.

3 is the number of the reigning GTD Pro champions Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims. In 2025 at Daytona, both drivers (alongside Daniel Juncadella) finished in 2nd in the GTD Pro category.
In 2026, they will fight for the GTD Pro win, becoming the most important victory for the Corvette factory effort with the current Z06 GT3.R.

THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER!!!
Celebrate everyone because it's RACE WEEK for Rolex24 at Daytona, which is the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship 2026 Season Opener.
It will be a 24-hour race at the iconic and legendary Daytona International Speedway in Florida.
With 60 cars and 4 classes featured with LMDh, LMH, LMP2 and GT3 cars competing, chasing for the glory.
The race will start on Saturday 24th 1:40 P.M. US ET. Throughout the week I will be posting the Rolex24 full schedule.

5 was the number used by Proton Competition in 2025 with the Porsche 963 Mustang Sampling.
In that occasion, Julian Andlauer, Nico Pino, Neel Jani and Tristan Vautier were the drivers.
They retired due to mechanical issues.
