In 2023, James Allen with the #55 Proton Competition Oreca 07 won in the LMP2 by 0,016s after passing Ben Hanley (#04 Crowdstrike Racing by APR) on the finish line.

Ben Hanley was leading in the LMP2 class, but in the last sector, James Allen managed to catch the leader and then the Australian driver incredibly passed Hanley on the finish line to take the LMP2 victory.



Was an unbelievable photo finish in the LMP2 class.
