I'm announcing here some changes I'll be making to the channel since I'm about to reapply to be a YouTube partner again. The main change is that I'm going to remove all/most of my compilation videos on this channel and will be moving them to Supercut Action (which was my first channel). Apart of the issue with YouTube demonetizing channels is that you essentially have to guess what they think is not transformative enough. Plus I'm not monetizing those minutes straight/compilation videos so theoretically it shouldn't have been a problem, but whatever. This will hopefully make my channel look more appealing to YouTube and I'll also remove a few other videos that may be problematic. If YouTube dropkicks my reapplication for whatever reason, then I'll probably start a Patreon and go from there.

I wanted to do a quick update since I’m kind of being forced into a position where I need to take a break. YouTube just demonetized my whole channel and is very vague about what’s specifically wrong. All I know is that they labeled my content as not being transformative enough. This is pretty wild considering that I basically only make video essays and reviews now. The appeal process can take up to two weeks and if I don’t pass that then it can take more than a month to become partnered again. I want to keep making videos, but the prospect of YouTube taking all the ad revenue for my hard work is pretty offputting. Given that YouTube now runs ads on all videos even if you aren’t a partner. So I might release Ant-Man Quantumania Being Devoid of Logic and then hold off until things get resolved. Thanks for following the channel and it sucks that this is happening.
