최근 멤버 탈퇴 공지 이후 여러 의견과 아쉬움을 보내주신 점, 충분히 공감하고 팀과 멤버들을 향한 애정으로 이해하고 있습니다.
하지만 일부 내용은 사실과 다른 방향으로 확산되고 있고, 특정 멤버들을 향한 불필요한 비난으로 이어지고 있어, 몇 가지는 오해가 생기지 않도록 조심스럽게 말씀드리고자 합니다.

출연진 구성은 최종적으로 제작진의 판단에 따라 이루어지지만, 그 바탕에는 언제나 각 멤버들의 자율적인 참여 의지가 있습니다.
실력이나 인기는 당연히 고려되는 요소입니다. 하지만 저희 제작진은 늘 다양한 멤버들의 출연 역시 중요시하기에 특정 멤버의 출연이 극도로 적은 경우, 단순히 제작진의 선택 때문만은 아니며, 실제로는 해당 멤버의 활동 의지나 일정상의 사정이 크게 작용하는 경우가 많습니다.
ARTBEAT는 오랜 운영을 통해, 제작진의 결정 외에도 멤버가 스스로 참여할 수 있는 다양한 제도와 경로를 마련해 두고 있습니다. 이 시스템은 활동 의지가 있는 멤버라면 누구에게나 열려 있습니다.

그동안 굳이 멤버들과 관련된 부정적인 상황은 외부에 공개하지 않았습니다.
하지만 그런 침묵이 오히려 열심히 활동 중인 멤버들에게 부당한 비난으로 이어지고, 그들의 동기까지 꺾는다면 더는 외면할 것만이 아니라 조금 더 솔직한 입장을 말씀드리는 것이 맞다고 생각합니다.

신입 멤버 선발 과정 역시 단지 ‘보이는 모습’만으로 결정되지 않습니다.
단순히 실력이나 지향하는 이미지가 어울리지 않는 경우도 있지만, 영상 밖에는 드러나지 않는 많은 이야기가 있고, 실제로는 태도 문제, 일정 불성실, 갑작스러운 잠수 등의 사례도 있으며, 심지어는 익명 제보를 통해 학교폭력 등 민감한 이슈가 접수되는 경우도 있습니다.
이런 내용들을 일일이 밝히며 책임을 피하고 싶지는 않습니다.
다만, 영상에 보이는 모습만으로 모든 걸 판단하지 않으셨으면 합니다.

물론 제작진의 판단이 항상 정답일 수는 없습니다.
하지만 저희는 매번 수많은 대화를 통해 주어진 정보와 태도를 최대한 신중하게 검토하며 결정하고 있고, 그 기준은 외부에 모두 공유하기 어렵지만 그에 대한 책임은 전적으로 제작진에게 있습니다.

그럼에도 팬 여러분의 비판과 피드백은 언제든 받아들일 준비가 되어 있습니다.
다만, 그 과정에서 열심히 활동하고 있는 멤버들에게 비난이 향하는 일은 멈춰주시길 간곡히 부탁드립니다.

앞으로도 ARTBEAT는 멤버 개개인의 성장을 중심에 두고,
팬들과의 신뢰를 지켜가며 꾸준히 진심으로 운영해나가겠습니다.

We understand that the various opinions and concerns expressed following the recent departure announcement come from a place of care and affection for the team and its members, and we sincerely appreciate that support.

However, some information has been spreading in a way that doesn’t reflect the full reality, and unnecessary criticism has begun to target certain members. We'd like to take this opportunity to carefully clarify a few points to avoid misunderstandings.

While the final cast lineup is determined by the production team, it is always rooted in each member’s voluntary willingness to participate.
Talent and popularity are naturally taken into account, but we also place great importance on ensuring a diverse range of members appear in our content.
When a particular member has extremely few appearances, it is rarely due solely to production decisions—more often, it reflects the member’s own level of commitment or scheduling limitations.
Through years of experience, ARTBEAT has established various systems and pathways that allow members to take part in content beyond just production-led casting.
These opportunities are open to any member who has the desire to actively participate.

Until now, we have refrained from sharing negative situations involving our members publicly. But when our silence leads to unfair criticism of those who are sincerely working hard — and even affects their motivation — we believe it is more appropriate to offer a transparent perspective.

The process of selecting new members is never based solely on what’s visible. There are many behind-the-scenes factors not shown in the videos. In some cases, we encounter issues such as poor attitude, lack of communication, or sudden absence. We have also received anonymous reports involving serious matters such as school bullying.

We have no intention of listing these details as a means of avoiding criticism. However, we ask that you avoid forming conclusions based solely on what is shown on screen.

Of course, the production team’s decisions may not always be perfect. But we make every effort to carefully review all available information and conduct extensive discussions before reaching any conclusions. While we may not be able to share all of our decision-making criteria publicly, we take full responsibility for those decisions.

We remain open to your feedback and constructive criticism. However, we sincerely ask that criticism not be directed at members who are giving their best and working hard.

ARTBEAT will continue to prioritize the individual growth of its members and operate with sincerity while maintaining the trust we’ve built with our fans.
