I vanished, but I haven’t left. I’ve been building. Building something bigger than me.
For the past 5 months, I’ve been deep in content, directing, screenwriting, producing, and scaling.
“How to Make Millions Off People’s Insecurities.” Bold edgy title but behind it is something you guys have come to know: That Drift storytelling—raw, heartfelt, informative, and cinematic.
So yes, Michael Drift and The Moviementary is still alive. And for a time, I thought it wouldn’t be. But what’s coming next extends far beyond my first run.
Because the first time, I had vision but no infrastructure. I had skills but no system to scale them. A strong identity but no room to let it evolve.
Now I’m learning what’s possible with both. What I did alone was impressive. What I’m building now will be unstoppable.
Eventually my story will be told and I’ll return, but right now I’m learning all that it takes to reach what I know I’m capable of.
Big thanks to @robthebankmotion for putting me in position to direct, script, and produce this Moviementary and tell his story. A story that's way overdue on reaching the masses on YouTube.
He provided me the opportunity. I gave it everything I had. And together—we made something exciting and unique in this world of content, marketing, and personal branding.

... and I want to share some details about the next Moviementary I'm working on:
1. Longest video I've ever made as the topic I'm taking on has serious mind-blowing research no one is talking about. 2. Most intricate storyline I've ever done. There are multiple timelines, characters, and twists. Probably worth watching twice to fully grasp it. 3. Highest budget I've ever invested into a video. I've hired a videographer, motion graphics editor, multiple actors, and much MORE. It's not just the good ol' one-man Drift team anymore!
I could share more but I'll leave the rest for when you see it. I'll end with this though...
This legitimately could be the MOST IMPORTANT video to hit the self-improvement space... EVER!
One day when I’m ready I’ll share what happen and how much of an amazing and unique mother she was to me, her only child.
This explains my inactivity as I was in the hospital with her everyday for the last few months. However, I have returned to working on my next moviementary and am ready to dominate 2023.
The pain of losing a mother is something I can’t explain in words and will be what I’ll wrestle with for the rest of my life but if I know anything, it’s that what follows adversity is greatness.
Not sure if I’ll keep this post up forever but I want the people who are reading this to know why they’ll be a delay until my next upload.

It's been an amazing first year, I couldn't imagine I'd be making content on the level I do, my very own style, a year ago, let alone have a dedicated audience like y'all. Thank you guys for enabling my vision to start coming true but, trust me, it's far FAR from where I truly plan to take things. If you're reading this, that means you were here before I blew up but this next year, everything is going to change. I'm here, ready to execute a plan that will change this whole space and that all starts with the next moviementary I'm going to be releasing next week!
📣 ANNOUNCEMENT: The next MOVIEMENTARY is on the way, and I know I say this every video BUT this one is going to be my BEST work thus far. I somehow keep up-ing myself each video, and man, it's been paying dividends 📈. It's also going to be the longest moviementary so far, so make sure to really settle in when you watch this one 🍿! I'm really excited too that I'll be launching some huge things for the channel with this video, things that I have been plotting on for a long time that will take us to another level 🔥. 2 weeks ago my mother passed away…
One day when I’m ready I’ll share what happen and how much of an amazing and unique mother she was to me, her only child.
