I've been posting here for 10 years and I have made mistakes.
Here are things I've learned to hopefully encourage you:

🌱Social Media is a Mission Field - People are desperate for love and community
whether they know it or not.

🌱Jesus is present online - There is HOPE you guys. Because the Spirit of Jesus is here and He is the light of the world. Darkness cannot defeat Him.

🌱Hope spreads in seconds - My most popular posts, videos, reels, and stories
are ALL about sharing encouragement to the broken, hope to the desperate, and community to the lonely. God did that. Not me.

🌱Boundaries online are important - Spending hours a day consuming content
keeps me from filling up on the hope and joy and peace that I want to share.
Less screen time is worth the fomo you may feel.

🌱Don't give up from lack of engagement - 10 years. Check out my follower counts.
Look how long it took. It took 5 YEARS to hit 1,000 subs on YT. Post because you love to be in this space, not because you want views or likes or even comments.

🌱Let the one be worth it - If one person is encouraged by your content, celebrate that. God chose to use your content to speak to another human being. 1 view is one person and that means something.

🌱Don't die on the alter of a posting schedule - There is enough success to go around. Taking a posting break is ok and it will not destroy all the work you have put in. You are building a sustainable place, not a viral one.

🌱Be kind to yourself. This is not a job. It is a ministry.
