If you haven't seen my review, the TL;DR is these are both an excellent value considering the quality and specs.

The Air Y which can handle lower end stuff (all the N64 and Dreamcast and PSP and a bit beyond) is $89.

And the Air Y PRO, with the same chip as the Retroid Pocket 5, can handle most Gamecube and PS2 and even some Switch and PC emulation. That starts at $145.

These are the early-bird prices, and you will have to pay shipping on top, but even still it's a great value.

The Retroid Pocket Nova is up for PRE-ORDER TOMORROW (6/26). Doors open at 6pm PST / 9pm EST

I think this is gonna be a BANGER, but as always, we'll have to wait and see how it feels and if there are any issues. I also think, considering the custom screen, the powerful chip, and the um... price of... everything... these days, it's a really solid value. I'm planning on getting the '16 bit' SNES style version (and probably doing a button-paint to make it DMG flavored as always!)

I need your opinion! When I make retro game videos I often want to use CRT shaders for the retro vibes, but I know some people don't like the shaders, so I'd like to know from you - Are you okay with CRT shaders, or do you prefer unfiltered original pixels, or do you not care?
