I reviewed this doodad last week and I LOVED it, but a lot depended on the price, and now we know that the super early bird price is $199 from Feb 5-12 only. This also comes with a free set of the mechanical micro switch modules (a very unique thing about this handheld). And for earlybird period you can also get their amazing case (which I stupidly forgot to show in my video) for $9.99.

I think this is a really solid price for this device. It's similarly priced to the Retroid Pocket 6 ($230), however that one will give you more performance but a lower refresh rate screen, and it's smaller. This one is like a BIG Retroid Pocket 5 instead, less performance but really big and comfy, and CRAZY good battery life. So both are good but different strengths.

YO DWEEBS! I don't do this very often but I felt this was worth bringing up here. Ayn is discontinuing the Odin 2 (base model), but they are also having a sale on the Odin 2 Portal to clear out their old stock - Possibly to make way for an Odin 3 Portal? I hope so!

Each model is discounted but the base is down to $249. That is honestly an amazing value for this amazing doodad. If you've been on the fence to get a Portal, this is a great time!
