Born on the island of Saint Martin a Dominican Republic native, Mickaƫl who goes by the artist name Blanko Ekama is a Latino artist.
It was that surrounding that made him in to a polyglot, just like he has said in many occasions, he speaks in Spanish, thinks in English and lives in a French territory.
His musical inspiration goes from (Eminem, Biggie Smalls to a Wisin y Yandel and Daddy Yankee).
Coming from a marginal district, his interest in music started at a really young age with the church's choir on Sundays, playing the drums and at times preaching.
He started to get into rap around 2004 right after he heard the son (En Honor A La Verdad) By Vico C.
He then continued honing his skills with his group called HNC La Familia, (High Note Clan).
It's in 2015 when he meets the French producer Yoro Glyphe, They soon started working together, in 2019 is where Blanko ekama's career really began with his first single
"Roll It Up"...
