Ignite With Ignacio

Welcome to Ignite with Ignacio. My name is Ignacio, which means ‘ignite the light.’ That’s my prayer for this channel — to spark hope, faith, and encouragement through God’s Word. If you’ve ever felt stuck, weak, or like you’re in a cave season, you’re not alone. Here, I share devotionals, fasting reflections, and Bible encouragements to help you hear God’s whisper and walk in His light. Let’s grow closer to God together.

Ignite With Ignacio

When the Fire Feels Dim

There are seasons when the light feels faint — when you’ve prayed, tried, and waited, but heaven seems silent.
But even in that silence… God is speaking.
Not in the thunder or the earthquake, but in the still, quiet whisper that says,
“I’m still here.”

If you’re tired tonight, remember — the flame doesn’t have to roar to burn.
Sometimes, staying lit in the darkness is your worship.

“A bruised reed He will not break, and a faintly burning wick He will not quench.” — Isaiah 42:3 (ESV)

You’re not being forgotten. You’re being refined.
The same God who met Elijah in the cave, who walked with Daniel in the fire, who wept with you at your lowest — He hasn’t changed.
He’s not asking you to shine perfectly.
He’s asking you to stay with Him.

🙏 Prayer:

“Lord, I feel weak tonight. I feel worn out and unseen,
but I choose to believe You’re still near.
Even when I don’t feel the fire,
I know the spark You placed inside me still burns.

Ignite my heart again, not for attention, but for Your glory.
Give me strength to trust Your timing,
to keep showing up in faith,
and to remember that You’re not done with me yet.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.”

Ignite With Ignacio

Welcome to Ignite with Ignacio. My heart for this channel is simple: to help people step out of the cave and into the light of Jesus.

Before we dive into teachings and encouragement, I want to share my story — my testimony. Because it’s not really my story… it’s God’s story of grace, mercy, and redemption.

Part 1: Early Life and Struggles
All my life, I felt this sense that God wanted to use me. As a child, I’d hear about heaven and hell, but I didn’t really know God. I had a hunger for something righteous, but no idea how to live it out.

When I was five years old, I lost my dad. That pain shaped so much of my story. My mom worked hard to raise me and my brother, but life was heavy. My family, once united, grew divided.

By the time I was eleven, everything felt broken.

I struggled in school. Couldn’t focus. Couldn’t keep up.

At thirteen, I gave my life to Jesus at church with some friends. Seeds of faith were planted. But soon after, I drifted. I got around the wrong crowd. Fell into a toxic relationship. Addictions. Darkness.

I thought I was in love, but that relationship pulled me into lust, manipulation, and emptiness. I battled thoughts of suicide. I cut myself. I felt worthless.”

📖 Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

I knew I was falling short. I just didn’t know how to get back up.

Part 2: Hitting Rock Bottom

One of the lowest points came when I ended up in juvenile detention. I’ll never forget it — sitting in that cold cell, ashamed, crushed, convinced I was a failure.

But on the bed was a Bible. I opened it. I prayed: ‘God, please help me.’

And even in that dark moment, He heard me.

📖 Psalm 34:18 — “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

I didn’t know it then, but God was preparing my comeback.

Part 3: God’s Call Back

Fast forward a few years — I was still in sin. Still broken. Still searching.

But then something unexpected happened. I downloaded TikTok. And video after video… was about Jesus. It was like God Himself was reaching through the screen, whispering: ‘I’m not done with you.’

Then one morning, my grandma texted me. She said she was picking me up for church. I didn’t want to go. But something inside me said, ‘Go.’

That morning in church, everything changed. The worship, the Word — it felt like God was speaking directly to me. Chains started breaking. Addictions, shame, fear… gone.

I gave my life fully to Jesus.

📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 — “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

That day, the old Ignacio died. The new Ignacio began.”

Part 4: Life After Surrender

My life didn’t become instantly perfect. I still stumbled. I still wrestled with habits like vaping and pornography. But this time, I wasn’t fighting alone.

The Holy Spirit was inside of me, giving me strength. Teaching me I didn’t have to do it in my own power.

📖 Philippians 1:6 — “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

“God is still working on me. And He’s still working on you too.”

Part 5: Call to Action

Friend, I don’t know what cave you’re in today. Maybe it’s addiction. Maybe depression. Maybe heartbreak. Maybe shame.

But listen — you don’t have to stay there.

📖 John 1:5 — “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, today is the day. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to come as you are.

Pray this prayer in your free time—
‘Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I give You my heart, my life, and my future. Forgive me. Make me new. I choose to follow You.’

If you prayed that, welcome to the family of God. Heaven is rejoicing over you right now.

And if you already know Him but feel far away — come home. The Father isn’t angry with you. He’s waiting with open arms.

Or maybe you’re still in the cave — addicted, depressed, hopeless. Friend, I know that place. I’ve been there. But Jesus is stronger than your addiction, your anxiety, and your past.

📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 — “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Your weakness is the place where God’s strength will shine.

This is why I started Ignite with Ignacio. Because I know what it’s like to be in the cave. And I know what it’s like when God calls you out into His light.

If He could rescue me, He can rescue you too.

So don’t give up. Don’t let shame keep you silent. Don’t let sin keep you captive.”

📖 John 8:36 — “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

This is just the beginning. God bless you.

Ignite With Ignacio

There was a time I felt stuck in the cave — discouraged, lost, and questioning my purpose. But God didn’t leave me there. In the silence, I heard His whisper. And that whisper brought me into the Light.

That’s why I’m starting Ignite with Ignacio.
🔥 A place to share God’s Word.
🔥 A place to remind you that your cave is not your final place.
🔥 A place to ignite faith and courage in your heart.

Together, let’s walk out of the cave and into the Light.

📖 John 1:5 — “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
