I’m bored so Ima yap about the whole taboo around getting freaky. Because; yes; I do understand the need to have it somewhat block and monitored on very accessible sites to minors like TikTok and YouTube, and understand that under a certain age it’s just plain gross to expose that to minors. But I am talking about my experience with seeing people online that appear to be above that age where it is just plain wrong to expose that stuff to them freaking out over some suggestive stuff, even if a bit, and I just…don’t understand it. Because Ima say it; I absolutely ADORE adult works of ShadowNilly, but because I’m Ace; I see that act as nothing more than the deepest form of trust, the trust needed to be so willingly vulnerable, and seeing that present in adult shadownilly works, it just makes me happy and giddy that even if its not cannon, to see Shadow Milk or Pure Vanilla willingly do that, I translate it as their trust finally being rebuilt, that despite it all, they learned to trust each other again, and so thats when I see adult ShadowNilly content, I get so squeal-ly and giddy, rolling on my floor like a moron because I am a sucker for romance, and I just find those works that aren’t overly or unnecessarily adult adorable, so perfect, exactly what my hopeless romantic heart wants for the two. That’s how I see those adult works, and that’s why I am so confused because like, yes. Not everyone sees it like that and doesn’t want to see that, but it’s still kinda confusing why adult content that isn’t overly or unnecessarily adult is see as the worst thing ever when its just natural; a display of trust and affection. But yea. Again; I understand the need for warnings and need to limit that on platforms that are VERY accessible to minors, I just don’t think it should be made into such a big deal like it’s the end of the world by people well over the age of it being wrong to be exposed to it is all :P
