Agile principles are typically thought of in the context of the corporate environment, usually applied to helping teams work together to satisfy the needs of their stakeholders. The appeal of agile principles to me has always been their applicability to life in general. This channel strives to go beyond the academics to explore how these principles can be seen and applied in everyday life, while also providing some of the fundamentals as they apply to software development in the cooperate environment.
Enduring Agile
Adding to the theme of applying agile principles to personal life, specifically with the theme of maintaining fitness into and through the off season, I've set a goal to maximize momentum gained throughout the cycling season during that painful transition from Summer into Winter.
To add a little context, it has been a great year, coming back from some major set backs. Maybe I'll walk through that a little more in a future video, but the point is that I lost most of my fitness momentum in the years before.
Going forward, I plan to capture my thoughts and hopefully pass some wisdom on to you as I go through the season transition this year, with a theme around how simple ideas like iteration, finishing what you start, producing value, and learning from experience fit into regular life.
