After nearly a decade of learning, experimenting, and teaching petite fashion on YouTube and my blog, I just shared a deeply personal video—my journey from struggling with height insecurity in my 20s and 30s to finally cracking the code on proportion, balance, and optical illusions that truly flatter petites.

Style isn’t about height—it’s about strategy. I'm 5'2"- Same sweater with the same skirt; let's break down why it doesn't work BEFORE and why it works AFTER.

❌ Don't wear a hip length sweater with a short skirt untucked paired with ankle booties
❌ Even though a short skirt can elongate your legs, it doesn't work the best with black ankle booties alone
✅ Do add black tights to eliminate the gap between your skirt and boots
✅ Do add a belt to emphasize your waist

❌ Don't wear a hip length cardigan untucked with a midi skirt paired with ankle booties
❌ Your body is being divided in multiple places therefore looks unflattering
✅ Do tuck your cardigan and add a belt
✅ The belt hides the bulkiness from tucking and shifts the focal point upwards
