The first channel dedicated to journal writing for self-understanding. ✍🏽✨
Keeping a diary from a tender age has encouraged me to explore writing as a vehicle of self-discovery, expression, and healing.
Today, my passion and purpose is to inspire you to find your unique answers on paper and make a living as a creative. This channel is your home for self-discovery through journaling, poetry, and reading experiences.

* Highlights: When you look back at 2023, what moments stand out?
* Gratitude: Who were the people that made a difference in your life and why?
* Wins: What accomplishments are you proud of?

A poem from my book Back to Earth 🤎
This poem in particular was an invitation to redefine privilege — after all, it is a gift to receive and to build upon. We are the descendants of the past, as we are the ancestors of the future.

What if everything is ok?
What if the anxiety you’ve been carrying is just a friend asking you to be patient and trust a little bit more on life’s unfolding?
Maybe you don’t need to long for a place among the stars because you are already right here, right now, standing on Earth — and that is already magical.
So allow yourself the gift of rest. Blow the dust off your mind and enter your body. Let those blessings rain all over you. Receive them fully, you are worthy. You are so worthy.

There comes a time in a woman’s life when she stops smiling for comfort. She undresses the comfort of the inner princess and hangs her tidily in the closet for the afterlife. It’s bittersweet.
She begins to take responsibility for her power and credit for her victories. She’s rooted in her values and no longer waiting for misguided directions — her heart becomes the North Star.
She’s life-giving. Her ultimate expression is always greater than herself. She seeks togetherness and pours love into a thousand cups. Her heart may crack open, but her spirit is unbreakable.
She lives in and with each one of us. She’s you.

There’s a certain kind of grief that feels like regret. A kind of grief that slithers across our awareness and shows us what we wish to unsee: we let the moment slip through the fingers with trivial distractions and we missed what was truly important — to love and be loved.
This grief is the shadow of your love’s light. It doesn’t matter how many I love you’s were said, jars of homemade granola gifted, or hugs given; it never feels enough. Its existence will prevail as long as love grows.
Perhaps this grief is the wake-up call we’ve been waiting for, reminding us of the art of expressing love. Sometimes we need to die a little to live fully.

Perhaps one of the greatest skills to navigate life is to recognize our sphere of influence. To find the serenity to accept what we cannot change, and find the courage to change what we cannot accept.
Fate, after all, rather than a predetermined force, becomes the result of the interplay between individual choices and the larger patterns of the universe.
Not everything happens for a reason, but you can find a reason in everything. Reasoning isn’t everything anyway.
