I took a risk going to the Newport docks today, and I was nearly arrested for it. But the public needs to see what is happening at this site, originally owned by Sims Metal.

The yard in this image is now stockpiled with thousands upon thousands of fridge freezers. Following the acquisition of the site by Unimetals, and that company's subsequent bankruptcy and loss of 650 jobs, these units are simply accumulating with no avenue for disposal.

This stockpile is the physical evidence of built-in obsolescence. The UK is scrapping millions fridges a year—many under five years old. The introduction of modern NTC sensors and auto defrost systems is causing these appliances to fail prematurely due to inherent unreliability and over-complexity.

I am reaching out to the press and advocates like Louis Rossmann to expose this.

Full investigation video coming soon.

Thank you all for your support. It is really appreciated. I’m sorry I’m not doing a video today on this as I’m seriously stuffed up with a cold.

Today, someone contacted me for my opinion on their YouTube video about a Samsung washing machine. I don't usually respond to such messages, but we began a conversation. He told me he'd been watching my videos since he was a kid, which made me feel quite old until he revealed he is only 15. This young man from southern Turkey speaks perfect English, and his knowledge is remarkable. I learned a great deal from his video. I am not often impressed by young people these days, but he completely blew me away. He has produced over 100 informative videos, with his latest, "Samsung Washers & WDs Parametric Mode Codes Decoded!", being particularly outstanding. Even this old guy learned a lot from this video. This young man has only achieved 600 subscribers on all the videos he's made. He truly does deserve a hell of a lot more than this, take a look at the video if you have a Samsung washing machine or a matter of fact any other type as the content he is producing one day will replace me. https://youtu.be/9f__NHjImFI?si=d-UZ4...
Make sure if you like his content, you give him a sub and if you are a Turkish manufacturer, you should be headhunting this boy before he gets snapped up

It is amazing that in France it is illegal for any manufacturer to produce obsolescence in Appliances. It’s worth watching this interview but make sure you switch the subtitles to English. https://youtu.be/B8LmbKS7HWE

Are manufacturers really leaving comments on controversial videos using different YouTube accounts to promote their products?

The comment above was posted on my video about heat pump tumble dryers. It claims that the dryer can dry clothes in 30 minutes. However, anyone familiar with heat pump tumble dryers knows that the first 15 minutes of the cycle are needed to get the gases to the right pressures and temperatures so the evaporator and condenser can work properly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xn03N...

It's impossible for a heat pump tumble dryer to dry a load of clothes in just 30 minutes, as the commenter claimed. When AI is used wrongly, it spreads false information to everyone.

I would like all engineers to leave a comment if they think it’s possible for a heat pump tumble dryer to dry clothes in 30 minutes. How far will manufacturers go?
Here is how a heat pump tumble dryer works so everyone understands and they can see how long it takes for the drying cycle to be initiated https://youtu.be/kz_YJsv9wTY?si=-JCTI...

This is the most absurd thing I have ever come across in the laundry industry. They have already got pre-orders of 80,000 in China. Is the world totally going mad. I even had to check this was not AI generated because it's so absurd. youtube.com/shorts/qxywcJfAix... I also got some information from a newspaper in China about the machine www.scmp.com/tech/big-tech/article/3303462/haier-d…
