Just a follow up:

It's also going to become the 'new' main channel. It allows me to create the videos according to my vision - true to this project's roots and without the shackles of caution.

The latest video will take awhile to be finished, but it's in the making. No AI will be featured, as I'm finally free of the chains of YouTube. I've had enough. I tried to play by their rules for a very long time now, but since this stuff is now even getting flagged for promoting 'self harm' I cannot take this platform serious anymore. Don't get me wrong. I still enjoy this page, but not as a creator (who's trying to deliver something that motivates on a subconscious level).

Even though most of the posts are only visible for active supporters, all the information regarding the full archive will be listed over there -for free - of course.

So if you join as a free member, you won't miss anything as I have the tendency to post everything over there first.
This is just a small fracture of what's to come in the long run.

I will still post here and on Gravemind (YT), for as long as these channels aren't taken down, but I won't bend the knee any longer. I have no idea what it is that people have become so sensitive, but I'll accept this process - without playing a part in it.

Don't get this wrong: This is not about copyright. It's strictly caused by the guidelines of YouTube and the people flagging this content - as they believe to see an intention that was never there in the first place. I've posted a screenshot from the last messages YouTube sent me on Gravemind and Patreon, but there have been countless mails over the last couple of months. Every time a video was taken down, I was told that this content promotes self harm. I filed disputes, but nothing was ever accepted.

So, if you ever need this content, you know where to find it.
Like I said, I try to keep this show on the road here on YT as well, but I don't think anything will change. We'll see where this goes.

Don't you worry, I'm not going anywhere.
But things are about to change.

I've already announced this on Patreon:
To be able to continue producing the content the way it's supposed to be means accepting the risk of getting banned permanently from YT in the process.

This next video will be an explanation in itself, as it unites all of the aspects these videos carry. Catharsis.
It'll be flagged. It'll be demonized as something it isn't (like promoting ending one's life—I still don't get how people can misinterpret these videos in such an abstract way). It may even cause a strike for the channel, and it might cause the end of another channel yet again (been there, done that). Ultimately, though, it may find the right ears at the right time—to bring forth light in a moment of desperation and loneliness.

If you're in the position to do so, be that light for someone. It's getting dark out here.

In case this channel vanishes (or Gravemind, for that matter), there's already an archive waiting on another streaming portal (you might have never heard of). If anything happens, there will be a public announcement on Patreon with a link guiding you to the archive.

This way, you'll be able to access it at any time. I'm not done with it yet, but once the new video is finished, the archive will be live as well.

I just wanted to take a second to mention - once more - a few IMPORTANT things.

- Videos will always be free for all. BUT, since there's something like channel members - I wanted to give a little benefit to those who support this channel this way.

Consider this: Someone supports a project you're working on,
something you put all of your passion and time into.
Wouldn't you want to give them a small benefit for it -
even if it's just something like an early access to new videos?
I do. And I think that's the least I can do. Same goes for Patreon.
That being said, I repeat:
The videos will always be available to everybody -
just with a different release date.
One thing though: There might be small adjustments to videos every now and then,
when I want to change something in the process. I think it's only logical that I don't upload mutliple versions of a video here, but still make them available to channel members and patrons instead. Doesn't happen too often, but I still wanted to mention it.


- The use of artificial intelligence
I mentioned this a few times already, but I want to repeat it:
Yes, I do work with AI regarding specific aspects of the voice. Multiple reasons for that:
- I love tech. I used to code a lot (language processing programs), which means I've got a natural interest in these things (not only with a scientific approach, but also with childlike fascination).
- The texts are written by myself. BUT I use AI to check my grammar every once in awhile. I'm not a native speaker so it occurs that I'm unsure regarding the right use every now and then. When I think about a sentence more than five minutes, I'll let AI check. When the text is finished, I let AI check again, for obvious reasons. This makes it possible for me to draw from personal experiences as well. Psychology and tech (among sports, music and philosophy) are my basic interests in life - always have been. So it comes naturally to write these texts myself - with the tools I can use to refine everything. On top of that: It allows me to continue with this project. Which brings me to the AI voice - something I really do enjoy. I can totally relate to everyone who enjoys organic, natural, real voices, full of emotion and expression. Yet, the use of an AI does not only bring me some sort of joy (and looking for ways I can refine the process itself), but it allows me to work much more efficient and in a way where it's possible for these videos to be online - without restrictions or even takedowns.
- Gravemind cannot be continued. Today's world doesn't allow such a project to exist any longer - at least not the way it was. I'm in awe for the countless messages that I receive. People have a deep connection to that channel and I do too. Still, sometimes we have to let go of the things that matter to us. Especially in this case. Consider this: You're putting hundreds of hours of your precious time into something - only for it being removed a few months later (sometimes all it took were a few days). I spent too much time on that already.

It's about time...

What has never been possible with Gravemind is now possible through IHYL.

Starting next week, IHYL will be available on all major streaming platforms, such as:
Spotify, apple musis/iTunes, deezer, amazon music and everywhere else.

BUT: There will be changes in regard to the original versions (music).

However, these files receive a new mix and mastering, in order to make them sound as good as possible.
Please be patient and give me some time to adjust to this new task (won't be perfect straight from the start).

I'll keep you posted when the first track goes online and the profiles are set up as well.
