So I've been extremely busy recently so haven't made any videos in a while, but in the coming weeks (Early May) I'll have loads of free time so I'll have some out then, but until then here's something to think about. I've been working on a basic raytracer (CPU only for now, GPU later) and it's got some neat features like checkerboard-like rendering options and can scale to basically as many cores as you can chuck at it.

So I managed to fix my Gtx570 (reference my earlier post). I replaced the VRM controller chip as it had died and in had to rebuild one of the traces as it'd been mostly vaporized, but here we have it. She's back in business.

Not done an update on the GTX570 im modding in a while. So here is one.
The reason for the delay is that the VRM controller chip bought-the-farm after a bad Vcore mod and i've had to wait for a replacement chips to arrive. They got here today so hopefully I can have the card up and running again soon.

So I WAS doing a core for core. Clock for clock test with Zen vs Skylake. But this board has been giving me all kinds of headaches. Now its decided to randomly half he in Chinese and half English despite being set to English in the bottom left corner. WTF.

Yesterdays Gainward phantom Gtx 570. Yes that's an EVGA Gtx 770 cooler I managed to (shoe-horn in with an angle grinder) get to fit the 570. This got clocks up to about 950mhz from about 890mhz. Next is a Vcore volt mod.
