Got my ‪@ShimodaDesigns‬ Action X30 loaded up for a trip over to Adelaide for a multi day shoot.

Will be flying with the most amount of gear I've taken on a plane, 8 checked bags is going to keep ‪@mattsmolen4‬ and I pretty busy at the airport.

Back from some time off and excited to put out some new videos after attending Sony's #SceneScape in Melbourne over the weekend. It was great catching up with friends I haven't seen in a while and meeting some new people in the industry.

There were some cool workshops and I got a little hands on time with the Sony FX5 and filmed a few clips during the expo.

This week the channel crossed a small milestone which I thought would take much longer to reach.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone both who have been on the journey since the beginning and those who have recently joined the journey. I’ve really enjoyed creating these videos for you all and will get back to the regular posts once I’m back from vacation.

I’ve got plenty of new ideas that I’m excited to get on camera for.

Helping the team prep for a job that I’ll be away for. There’s been a few differences in my role now as a DoP ever since I transitioned from freelance to being employed full time.

For example having to systemize my technical processes so the team can pick up where I left off when I’m away.

It’s not every day that you get to be part of a writers’ room as a director of photography. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was a great experience to collaborate with some truly talented storytellers to help bring a talent web series to life.

Hope everyone's having a great weekend. Today's video will out a little later this week. I didn't get the chance to finish up the edit as I got the opportunity to be apart of my first writers room this, which was a great experience.

When was the last time you forgot your headphones? It was a first time in a long time on this weeks vlog, nothing like a frantic start to a day.

I done goofed and forgot to enable the 360 video plugin with the export on this weeks vlog and the footage looks wild, so had to take the episode down for a re-upload. This weeks video should be up soon, until then Nugget say's hey.

I picked up a new camera, my first new camera in a very long time. In this weeks vlog I take it and put it through it's paces.
