Welcome to Good Ground Prayer and Devotion
Motto: Life be life’n. God be God’n.
Born from rocky ground, Good Ground Prayer and Devotion is a faith-filled space for believers seeking to deepen their relationship with God through the power of prayer. Prayer isn’t just a spiritual habit—it’s a divine invitation. As Proverbs 15:29 (NLT) reminds us:
“The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous.”
Here, the soil is good ground. Whether you're new to prayer or have been walking with God for years, you're welcome here. We grow together. We pray together. We uplift and encourage one another—celebrating breakthroughs, sharing praise reports, and standing in faith as a community.
Inspire. Uplift. Encourage. Motivate. Pray.
Let’s grow in grace, one prayer at a time.

The Call to Prioritize God's Will
God said “don’t make Him have died for you for nothing”.
In the rush of daily life, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the constant demands of work, relationships, and responsibilities. The world around us is busy, fast-paced, and filled with distractions. Technology, which was meant to give us more time, often leaves us feeling more scattered, with endless tasks vying for our attention. In the middle of it all, we can lose sight of what truly matters: living in a way that honors and pleases God.
**Reflection:**
I understand that we all have a lot going on, and it's natural to feel pulled in many directions. However, there comes a point when we need to pause and intentionally plan our day and week in a way that aligns with God's purpose for us. The question isn't just "What do I have to do today?" but rather, "How can I serve and please the One who created me?" The distractions of society, with its never-ending to-do lists, can easily lead us astray from this central question.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33, *“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”* This verse encourages us to prioritize God’s will above all else. When we seek to honor Him first, He promises to take care of the rest. It’s not that our tasks or responsibilities aren't important—they are—but when we place God's will at the center, everything else falls into its proper place.
**The Need for Spiritual Focus:**
Even though technology can be helpful, it often distracts us more than it aids us. Instead of giving us more time, it seems to add to the noise. But in the midst of this chaos, God is calling us to pause and tune into His voice. The noise of the world can be overwhelming, but God’s presence is peaceful and still. Psalm 46:10 reminds us, *“Be still, and know that I am God.”* In that stillness, God can guide us.
**Action Step:**
Today, take a step back from the hustle and bustle. Set aside time to pray and ask God, “How would You like for me to show up today?” Invite the Holy Spirit to guide every thought, conversation, and action. When we seek God's guidance in all things, He will lead us with wisdom and peace.
James 1:5 encourages us: *“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”* Let this be a reminder that, in the midst of our busy lives, we don’t have to navigate everything on our own. God is ready and willing to provide the wisdom we need to align our lives with His will.
Closing Prayer:
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and for loving me deeply. Help me to step away from the distractions of this world and focus on what truly matters—serving You. Guide my thoughts, actions, and conversations today, and may everything I do bring glory to You. I trust that as I seek Your kingdom first, You will provide for all my needs. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
**Verses to Reflect On:**
- Matthew 6:33
- Psalm 46:10
- James 1:5
- Romans 12:1-2
- Colossians 3:17
May today be a reminder that we are not just living for ourselves but for the one who created us, and in His will, we find true purpose and peace.

“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”
Romans 8:31 NLT
No seriously. If God be for us, who or what can come against us? If you are still pondering this question, the answer is nothing or no one.
So operate as such. Have a blessed night. And get your rest. 😉
