Mind blowing results in the Battery Test Video of iOS 26.
The iOS 26.2 & 18.7.3 Battery video will be out for subscribers in a short moment, and coming later for everyone else. This time there is a huge surprise, something I have never seen before in all my years of testing. Both a good one and a not so good one. Crazy results incoming....

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on the status of the iOS 26 and iOS 18.7 videos.

I’m still in the process of settling into the new house, and most of our belongings—including the video equipment and test devices—are still in storage. I’m hoping to retrieve the test devices today, which should allow me to shoot a battery test video, likely in the same format as the last two.

The plan is to start with the iOS 18.7 video (so I won’t need to downgrade any devices), and then move on to iOS 26. If everything goes smoothly, I expect to have the iOS 18.7 video ready by Thursday, and the iOS 26 video out by Friday or Saturday.

Apologies for the delay, and thanks for your patience. I hope to be back to normal soon!

Looking forward to sharing some exciting content with you all very soon—stay tuned!

Hi everyone.

I am working the final touches on the iOS 18.6.2 battery video, but thought I would post this caution :
If you use the iPhone SE2020, Xr, 11, 12 or iPhone 13. DO NOT UPGRADE TO 18.6.2.
Wait for the video & you will understand why.

Hello everyone,

iOS 26 Beta 1 has been released, and I wanted to share some updates on the videos I’m planning.
The first video will be a side-by-side speed and smoothness comparison between iOS 18.5 and iOS 26 Beta 1. Since this kind of test requires two identical devices, I’ll be doing it on the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13—these are the only models I have duplicates of. Coincidentally, they’re also among the oldest supported devices, so they’re likely to show the biggest differences in performance.
Once that video is done, I’ll follow up with a battery test on iOS 26 Beta 1. I won’t be doing battery tests for every beta release, as I need to downgrade the devices again to be ready for any upcoming iOS 18.5.1 or iOS 18.6 updates.
So stay tuned! The side-by-side comparison video will definitely be out this week, and the battery test video will follow by next week at the latest.
All the best,
