I started Lab Muffin because I was frustrated that there weren't enough easy-to-understand explanations of the science behind beauty products. I firmly believe that anyone can understand the science behind skincare and beauty.

OK this is extremely experimental, but a lot of people have been asking me about signed copies of The Science of Beauty. Since Australia is a million miles away, sending heavy parcels costs a lot… so I designed some bookplates that I can send as a letter! They’re basically pretty stickers that you can stick in your book, they’re 6.5 x 10.5 cm.
I haven’t ironed out the process, so I’m releasing 90 for now 😬 I’ve averaged out the pricing so everyone gets free shipping. Please let me know if your country doesn’t show up and I can add it!
The name you put as “first name” will be the name I personalise it to (“Dear Yasmin, happy reading” etc.) If you want a different name, say you are Yasmin Lee and you want to be sent a sticker for your friend Fred, put this as your name and I should be able to work it out:
First name: Yasmin (sign for Fred)
Last name: Lee
The mail is chaotic at this time of year, so don’t expect this to arrive before Christmas. Everything says over 15 business days, except Australia which is 4-5 business days (but we know AusPost often lies haha).

I was invited to deliver a plenary talk at the 6th International Conference on UV and Skin Cancer Prevention recently. It was a huge honour to be on the program with a whole bunch of researchers whose work I've been citing for ages, in some cases over a decade!
