Hello lovelies! So many new people have subscribed lately (welcome in!) so I thought I’d do a post showing the difference between Leo & Max so people don’t get confused!

Leo - 15.1hh, Arabian, 3.5 years old. Chestnut with one white back sock, white star on face and long flaxen mane (blond for the none horse people). Leo won’t start the riding process until he turns 4 next year, so long reins and in hand walking videos are him.
Nicknames: Lilo, Weasel.

Max - 18.2hh, KWPN (Dutch warmblood), 10 years old, same shade of Chestnut all over with two back white socks, a tiny splodge of white on his face and a shorter mane. Max is ridden and is particularly scared of the colour blue, squirrels, recycling rubs and pretty much everything apart from traffic on the road which he is fine with.
Nicknames: Safety Inspector, Maximoose, Mr Pig.

There is also a 3rd horse I have called Maisie, she’s a little companion pony that lives with Leo and is rarely featured on my page. She is actually Leo’s great aunt! Max and Leo don’t live in the same place and Max is owned by my mum, I just ride him to keep him fitter for her.

🏆 Multi award winning influencer!
I’m still absolutely blown away and beyond grateful to have won three awards this month. The British Horse Society Safety Award with my fellow campaigner Katie Smart, The horse & Hound Unsung Hero Award, and the Equestrian business awards Media of the Year.

Thank you to all my friends, family, and every single follower who has supported me, encouraged me, shared my videos, and believed in me, especially the Leash & Release campaign. Your love and kindness mean more than I can ever say. I would love to reply to every single comment and thank you all personally but I just physically can’t, but know I’ve read every single one and appreciate you more than I can put into words.

A very special thank you goes to the £1 horse herself, Darcey. Her legacy continues to change lives every single day, even in her absence. It is the greatest honour to carry her name forward, and I felt her with me at every award. She will always be the heart behind everything I do. I miss you terribly Darce ❤️

A new chapter.

This week I received the last photos of Darcey, and my beautiful necklace gifted to me by Heart Horse (if you want to see it go find me on insta/fb). Although I still cry, and feel this desperate emptiness around me, and in all honestly an anger at the hand I was dealt and the loss I feel, I finally feel I can start to close my grief, and move forward with fond memories and look to the future. I have her ashes, her tail, her shoes, her photos and a beautiful keepsake, but most importantly I have everything we built, we started and we endured. EnduranceWithDarcey™️ will remain as my name, but this chapter is about Leo, and how we continue Darceys legacy. I hope you enjoy this new profile picture, I can’t get over how stunning Leo is. #horse #equestrian
