This week, I dropped a long-awaited new video on my YouTube channel, Chris Fitzpatrick Speaks, distilling one small piece of my "Becoming a Fan" keynote for viewers.
In this 8-minute video, I tee up the concept of "Personal Aspiration" and its psychological connection to fanship. We often become fans of someone or something when we identify aspirational qualities to the people or experiences - this gives us early concepts of role models. A 6-year-old might attend his first hockey game, for example, and some home turning everything in the house into a stick, a puck, or a net with which to practice.
