Because listen… if your resume was doing its job, you wouldn’t be questioning it. Period.

Here are 5 things you ALWAYS need to get right ⬇️

1️⃣ It’s a job description… not a sales document
Your resume should not read like HR copy-paste. Employers don’t care what you were responsible for. They care about what you solved, improved, saved, grew, or led.
If your resume doesn’t show impact, it’s invisible.

2️⃣ No numbers = no proof
“Managed,” “assisted,” “supported” is cute… but WHERE are the results?
Numbers build trust. Metrics create confidence. Results get interviews.
If I can’t see your value in 6 seconds, the recruiter is already scrolling.

3️⃣ It’s written for YOU, not the role
This one hurts, but hear me:
A resume is NOT about your entire career—it’s about this job.
If your resume isn’t tailored to the role you’re applying for, the ATS will ghost you before a human ever does.

4️⃣ The formatting is fighting you
Tiny fonts. Paragraphs. Three columns. Graphics everywhere.
It looks “creative,” but the system can’t read it—and neither can a tired recruiter on their 47th resume of the day.
Clean. Simple. Strategic. That’s how you win.

5️⃣ It doesn’t sound like a leader
If you’ve been in the game for years but your resume still sounds entry-level… that’s a problem.
Your resume should command the room on paper.
Confidence isn’t cocky—it’s clarity.

Let me be real with you:
A bad resume doesn’t mean you’re unqualified.
