It’s called Kukur Tihar — a special day dedicated to honoring every dog, whether a pet or a stray. People place tika on their foreheads, decorate them with flower garlands, and offer them delicious food as a sign of love and respect. 🐶💐

Dogs are believed to be the messengers of Yamaraj, the god of death, and protectors between worlds. But beyond tradition, this festival reminds everyone to celebrate the unconditional love and loyalty that dogs bring into our lives. ❤️
