Who will you be in 10 years?

I remember when I used to think that being a full-time artist was something only special people could do.

That artists like SamDoesArts or Loish were born with something I didn’t have.

That maybe I just wasn’t meant to get that good.

And honestly thinking about how far I am from their level scares me.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

The reason they’re great isn’t because they’re special.

It’s because they never stopped showing up.

They stayed dedicated to becoming.

They kept learning, kept experimenting, and stayed students of the craft.

So whether it takes me 10 years or 20… I’ve decided I’m going all in.

To keep pushing.

To keep growing.

To become a great artist.

So I’ll ask you again....

⏲️⏳Procrastination is something we all know too well.

We’ve all been there.

But who does procrastination really hurt?

This week, I had a moment that shook me. It was a reminder of how delaying what’s important can sneak up on you.

While it wasn’t a life-threatening event, it still made me realize how easy it is to put off what matters.

And for many of us, that “what matters” is our drawing journey.

For the longest time, improving my drawing skills was the thing I kept pushing aside.

I told myself I’d start practicing tomorrow, next week, or when I had more time.

But the truth is, we all have something we’re procrastinating on...whether it’s finally learning anatomy, finishing that piece you started, or practicing a skill you’ve been avoiding.

The point is, we all have to face it at some point. Whether we tackle it now or later, the toll must be paid. So why not do it today?
