The main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is a spiritual symbol of Russia, glorifying the greatest victory of life over death. The temple in honor of the Resurrection of Christ is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the military exploits of the Russian people in all the wars that befell our country. The height of the temple together with the cross according to the project is 95 meters. The diameter of the drum of the main dome is 19.45 meters. The height of the small dome is 14.18 meters. The temple is designed in a monumental Russian style, organically incorporating modern architectural approaches and innovations unique to Orthodox church building. Each of the chapels of the Temple is dedicated to a saint - the patron of one of the branches of the armed forces and types of the Armed Forces of Russia. Construction was completed on May 9, 2020, on the day of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
