HubNut is all about Celebrating the Average and the unusual in the fascinating world of the motor vehicle.
Ian is the main host, having started the channel in 2013 as a side-project, while working as a freelance motoring journalist. Ian edited titles such as Classic Jaguar, Retro Japanese and Rolls-Royce and Bentley driver while publishing videos about the resurrection of his 1972 Invacar. The channel went full time in 2019, during which time he met Miss Hubnut, who has become an excellent co-presenter. The channel documents their experiences with their fleet, as well as adventures, road tests and thoughts on motoring in general.

I hope you lot are ready for more buses! Have a Leyland Atlantean video that'll be almost an hour long and later on, a separate video on the Leyland PD3 closest to camera. Remarkably, both buses were built in 1958! Same engine, same steering wheel but otherwise VERY different!

Doing merch ourselves has been dealt many blows in recent times. So we've sadly decided to close down the old store as of 31st May 2025. The loss of our Post Office and new charges for collections have forced our hand. Still time to order (not EU or NI customers) if there's something you fancy!
