Came down with COVID and spent most of my time in quarantine playing Trepang2 on Extreme and Rage Mode. Think I know what I'm gonna be making my next edit about.
I gotta admit, having my next AMV be a different vibe from the last one is good exercise to vary up my range and work - but with the song I've picked and the kind of vibe I'm putting on, I'm having to take frequent breaks because the tone is kind of putting my mood under.
Antimatter was this intense kinda "trying in vain to do the right thing" kind of AMV but I wasn't playing up the song's lyrics much. Watch Yo Step was bouncy, off the wall, hyper and super fun to work on. This next one is meant to feel brooding, exhausted, like being worn down. I'm linking up visuals with lyrics a lot better now albeit trying to be somewhat impressionistic to avoid just showing exactly what the words are saying.
I dunno what I'm gonna do after this one but it's gonna have to be a bit less like this. Maybe I'll do a Black Lagoon hype edit for funsies. Got a good song in mind for that one.
