So I thought Secret of the Mimic VR came out a week later, but I was wrong. It has no release date. That being said, I will still consider a livestream for my 2nd playthrough of the game. Maybe I'll try to load it in the UEVR mod to make it VR.

I will not be streaming or recording my first playthrough of Secret of the Mimic, which is releasing tomorrow. I have a few reasons for not doing this (terrible wifi, everyone's already doing it, lack of privacy), but here's the main one.

I've learned over the years that it's very difficult to be immersed when you are recording and streaming. You have to commentate and because of that, you never really feel alone and scared. I want to experience it as a horror game, not as content.

HOWEVER, I am not ruling out all streaming for the game. In 1 week, it will be released with VR support. I am considering a livestream for the VR version. I need to clear some space, but then I should be good to go. If that is happening, I will let you know way ahead of time.

Finally, after some thinking, I have decided that I will be doing a review for Secret of the Mimic. It will be a thorough one analyzing the game and all its features. Look forward to that as well as other projects.

Happy Pride Month, everybody! I'm going to say something about myself, but I'm going to keep it brief because I don't want to make this about myself. I don't know if you guys know, but I'm a Catholic, was brought up in a Catholic school, and raised by a conservative family. I've kept that mostly private because, although I love God and Jesus and my conservative family, I'm ashamed of how they've been co-opted to mandate that there is a "right" way of living and that by living the "right" way you are entitled to superiority over others who live differently.

How could these people who claim to be superior know what's best for you when they haven't spent a day in your shoes and haven't gone through the experiences you have? What makes them so special that they get to decide who you get to be? So, whether you are straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual, or anything in-between, know that by living differently against those who see themselves as superior, you are a force of nature and far more sure of yourselves than they will ever be. They can beat you down, but you'll have one thing they'll never have: the love and support from those who choose peace and acceptance. We are here and we love you.
