Looks like this channel is still alive despite the new age verification law, wooo!

Looking back at 2025, we launched the 100 subscriber outfit, gained over 50 new subscribers, and hit a record with a short that received over 1,000 views. Thank you all very much for your continued support!
In the software development industry, job opportunities continued to decline as big companies doubled down on AI. From my own IRL job, where I had to rotate team members, I’ve noticed a concerning trend: developers are increasingly reliant on AI and losing the ability to read and write solid, working code.

This year to counter this, I’m aiming to tick off my bucket list by focusing on “how to code” tutorials in popular languages so devs can build strong fundamentals and succeed. And don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about part 2 of the imposter syndrome series. It’s a sensitive and important topic in software development, and I want to give it the time it deserves.

I’ll continue covering essential skills and tools for dev roles, and keep you updated on the software development industry from my perspective. I want to share something important about the future of this channel.
Social media platforms are preparing to enforce government-mandated age verification requirements that will most likely ask users to provide proof of identity.

While the intention may be to protect younger audiences, I have serious concerns about how this data will be handled. Sharing sensitive information online can put people at risk of identity theft, and I don’t believe the current systems are secure enough to safeguard that data.

I also don’t believe this ban achieves its intended purpose. By removing access to parental tools within accounts, it limits safe oversight. At the same time, many teens will simply move to less regulated, potentially more harmful sites to stay connected — which could make things worse, not better!

So when the time comes, I will not be verifying my age.
This means I’ll continue creating content here until verification is required. If you notice the channel suddenly disappears or content stops, you’ll know why.

If the policy changes or a secure way to verify access is introduced, I’ll happily return. If not, you can now find me on the following YouTube alternatives:
