I’m now back from NYC Marathon and as you may of seen from my YouTube Shorts, I had an absolute blast!

Many have been asking when I would release the long form video but I have over 1 hour of footage, even though the battery went flat before last 8 miles, which would take me weeks to edit.

So, would you like full unedited clips from marathon now or wait a few weeks/months for more fancy and shorter video edits?

Whilst I am very excited to be here at NYC, I am also very nervous if I will be able to finish the Marathon as having ran my first run after the looong flight, my leg was not feeling good at all.

All that remains for me now is to hope I can get through as I did back in 2017 🙏🏼

Masters runner approached me in January with goal to qualify for England, having not done so in past 3 years.

9 months later, he achieved just that coming 2nd in his AG at Chester Marathon.

Feeling very proud right now, that I was able to help him in some way 🙏🏼

BOOST my videos 🎉

There is a NEW YouTube feature called boost video, where you can help my videos be found by more people by simply clicking the boost button.

Not sure exactly how it works or when it appears, but I think you have to press thumbs up and the BOOST option appears for any video up to a week old.

DON’T PANIC!

It was quite a long haul getting back from Canada and may be a while before the jet lag wears off, so the long form videos may be a while, but I have not forgotten about you all.

I hope you are all well and enjoying whatever you are doing.

For me, I need to fully recover before getting back to some serious training and producing the videos I know you all love to watch.

The next one will be all about recovery and is there such a thing as running to recover?

Also, how does jet lag impact our training, plus more!

Wednesday was the funeral of a great man.

My dad.

He was amazing!

Lived a long full life to age 96 and had done so many things during his time here on this earth, including:

Farmer
Award Winning Gardener
Jet Pilot
Psychiatric Nurse
Intrepid Cyclist
Electrician
Barber

He will be greatly missed by so many of us and has left so many happy memories.

Rest in peace 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Thank you all for the kind words, comments and private messages since the passing of my dad.

He lived a long and full life until the tender age of 96.

As you can imagine, this is a difficult time for myself, my family and friends who knew dad, so I will he slowly getting back to YouTube and Social Media.

I took part in the Fairford 10k last Sunday as I know my dad would not me want to stop doing what I love.

And not only was it a well organised race, I got to meet many of you who watch my videos here including the amazing Linda 👇🏼

Will be publishing full POV race video very soon 🙏🏼
