It’s been an incredibly hot summer here in Japan. How has the weather been where you live? 🌿

Today’s release is Lone Journey.

It’s a newly remixed version of a track I originally released last year. Compared to my usual Bushido Beats, this one has a gentler, more reflective feeling—like the beginning of a journey.

The word “Lone” doesn’t mean loneliness.

Instead, I imagined a young samurai taking his very first step on his own.
He’s uncertain, but even more excited about the new world waiting ahead. That’s the feeling I wanted this music to capture.

My favorite part of this track has always been the lively, dancing shakuhachi melody.

Every time I hear it, it reminds me of a traditional Japanese summer festival.
That’s why I wanted to revisit this piece and remix it as a soundtrack for summer.

In Bushido Beats, you are the hero of this story.

I hope this music lets the summer wind guide you toward your own journey.

今日公開した動画は 「Lone Journey」。
昨年公開した曲を、この夏に合わせてリミックスしたバージョンです。
いつもの Bushido Beats よりも少し穏やかで、旅の始まりを感じるような一曲になっています。

この “Lone” は、「寂しい」という意味ではありません。

迷いながらも、自分の足で最初の一歩を踏み出す少年。
不安もあるけれど、それ以上に、新しい世界への期待で胸が高鳴っている――そんな姿をイメージして作った、お気に入りの曲です。

しかしこの曲を聴いていると、跳ねるような笛の音が祭囃子のようで、
夏っぽい気分になるんですよね・・・！
ということで、夏の曲として、一年越しにリミックスしてみました。

Bushido Beats は、この音楽を聴いてくださっているあなた自身が主人公。そんな気持ちで作っています。
心躍る夏の風に誘われて、思わず一歩踏み出したくなる。
そんな雰囲気を感じていただけたら嬉しいです！
