Hi! Some of you asked me how I did that shaky and zooming camera movements in my latest video, so I decided to put all the scripts together and publish them as a mod. What do think about this idea? Link: www.beamng.com/threads/rotation-tracker-and-handhe…
Made the lift spawning process easier, it was the hardest problem to solve. Still have to take care of input logic and, maybe, materials and textures. Going to update the mod this week!
I started the Pigeon Truck project in December '23 and abandoned it a couple of months later. At first choosing parts from different vehicles and trying to geometrically fit them together was very fun and educating. The mod was 80ish % ready. But soon I lost interest because it just took too much time to finish. Lately I tried to revive it again but several latest updates broke it partially. Initially I made the mod as an addition to the semi truck, where the rear half was left unchanged and the front one was deeply reworked. What the updates did is made the front half the main part, forcing me to make the mod a separate vehicle, on the way fixing broken materials (all of that was not hard to do). But now I'm stuck again because for some reason power from the engine won't pass through the gearbox. Also I can't figure out how to correctly modify dually wheels to make them single. Even if I manage to fix all of this there will still be original annoying things I kinda have to deal with. All it takes is carefully read through the documentation and make a bunch of experiments to really understand what is going on with all these vehicle systems. Will I actually learn anything by doing that? Well, I will know how devs decided to hard-code engines, powertrains etc. But this is where it becomes boring to me...
Anyway, I'm in the process of editing a new cinematic. It's like 40% done, and the amount of effort being put into it is ridiculous. The plotline doesn't seem to make much sense xD. Is it really worth creating such content?? (rhetorical question)
The Dynamic Gravity mod is on repo. If only BeamNG had more experimental maps where you can actually cruise upside down (do you guys know any?) www.beamng.com/resources/dynamic-gravity.36184/

By the way, these are unedited pictures.

Hi, anyone here? :) Two-Post Lift mod materials fixed (see version 1.1 in game repo).
Currently I'm testing new functionality for my guardrail mod so it's more user-friendly. The Bluebuck mod needs some attention too...
