Their project, "CE-RLVR: Internalizing Symbolic Reasoning in LLMs through Counterexample-Guided RLVR," explores a novel approach to training large AI models. Instead of only learning whether an answer is correct or incorrect, the model is guided through examples that reveal why a mistake occurred, helping it develop stronger reasoning capabilities rather than simply memorizing patterns.

This innovative work combines symbolic reasoning with modern AI techniques to improve logical thinking, mathematical problem-solving, and the reliability of AI systems while reducing hallucinations and reasoning errors.
