TIME TO WORSHIP—A Quick Recap on Today’s Zoom Revival Meeting:
Friends, we just experienced another wonderful revival meeting on zoom for Back to the Altar: 100 Days of Prayer. Over 800 of you joined! What a blessing to see so many of your smiling faces from all around the world.
After Ramon Canals opened our meeting with Scripture and prayer, Don MacLafferty led us in an interactive session, from the Word, on what it means to worship God personally. It was beautiful seeing everyone’s responses to the Word as well as their praises to God flooding the chat box!!
Pastor Don closed the session with a short testimony, sharing how God is calling him under the stars each day to walk and worship and pray. He then gave the following two challenges:
First: Take time to worship Jesus PERSONALLY, before you call your family (or your family of faith) to worship each day. That personal time of worship affects the whole rest of the day… it affects how you worship in church (if it’s Sabbath). It also affects how you worship with your family, and how you love and serve your family.
His second challenge: When you take time to worship personally (and then with family), make it Bible based, and make sure THANKSGIVING (thanking God for what He does) and PRAISE (worshiping God for WHO HE IS) are an integral part of every worship!
As we learned, taking time for meaningful daily worship makes all the difference in the world as we grow as disciples of Jesus. Let’s keep asking Jesus every day to wake us up to have unrushed, undistracted time worshiping in His presence! Let’s ask Him to continually put praises of thanksgiving on our lips.

Day 2 of 100 (April 5 – Prayer Focus)
SEARCH: Pray that God would search your heart and reveal anything that might hinder your heavenward journey. Then confess and repent of any spiritual compromises that He brings to your mind.
