I am persuaded that an unmediated, candid National Town Hall dialogue between the President & #Nigeria's equitably, disgruntled teeming youth.. listening to their concerns, etc, should pave the way for understanding, trust, and progress.
Thursday, July 25, 2024: A PRESSING REQUEST For THE PRESIDENT, HIS EXCELLENCY; PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU (GCFR) To SPEAK _DIRECTLY_ TO THE YOUTH Of NIGERIA, Amidst LOOMING DEMONSTRATIONS:

Dear Mr. President,
As someone deeply invested in the well-being of the youth in Nigeria, I am compelled to bring to Your Excellency's attention the pressing need for your unmediated engagement with the vibrant and restless youth population of our nation at this very critical time. With 70% of our estimated population of (229,451,477), comprising young individuals, totaling a staggering 160,616,033;
it is crucial their voices and concerns are heard and addressed promptly to prevent potential unrest and dissatisfaction. The disconnect between the government and the realities faced by our youth has been a longstanding issue that has seemingly reached a critical juncture. While this challenge predates your administration, the current circumstances demand an immediate intervention and stop-gap solutions to address the pressing issues faced by our youth.

While the recent increase in the minimum wage to 70,000 Naira is a constructive action, it is overshadowed by the crippling 34.2% inflation rate, rendering the increment inadequate to meet the rising cost of living. Addressing this disparity is essential to demonstrate a genuine commitment to improving the welfare of all Nigerians, especially the youth. Furthermore,Your Excellency; the issue of hunger remains a pressing concern among the youth and adults alike.
I previously suggested the establishment of hot food kitchens in all 774 local government areas as a practical solution to alleviate food insecurity and ensure no citizen goes to bed hungry. Leveraging local government fiscal autonomy for this initiative could have a significant impact on addressing this urgent need.

Mr. President Sir, Developing employment opportunities, particularly in sectors that focus on exportable products and produce, is crucial for empowering the youth and driving economic growth. By investing in industries with high export potential, the government can tap into the creativity and productivity of the youth, establishing sustainable livelihoods and contributing to the nation's prosperity... continued 👇🏾

THE DANCE OF TIME - HARVESTING THE RYTHMN OF LIFE: In the symphony of existence, there is a universal #tempo that orchestrates the dwindling and progress of all living things. This rhythm of life is evidenced by the beating pulse of nature, the steady heartbeat that dictates the seasons and guides the hands of harvesters as they reap the fruits of their labor.
#Time, like a skilled conductor, directs the tempo of #growth and maturation in the fields of our vocation. It sets the pace for the cycle of #sowing and #reaping, ensuring that each plant, each creature, follows its own harmonious path towards fruition. The pulse of the #earth quickens with the changing seasons, signaling the arrival of the moment to gather the bounties of the land.
Yet, in our eagerness to reap the rewards of our toil, there lies a #danger in rushing ahead of the appointed time. Just as a musician must respect the tempo set by the music, so too must we respect the natural rhythms of life. Forcing a premature harvest disrupts the delicate balance of nature, leading to consequences that reverberate far beyond the fields we tend.
When we disregard the wisdom of the earth's pulse, we risk depleting the resources that sustain us, disrupting the intricate dance of life that sustains all living beings. Just as a fruit plucked before its time fails to reach its full sweetness, so too does a premature harvest deprive us of the richness that comes with patience and mindfulness.
Let us then heed the lessons of the harvest, and learn to dance to the rhythm of time with grace and humility. Let us embrace the natural cadence of the earth, #sowing our #seeds with #care and #patience, and reaping the fruits of our labor at the appointed hour.
When we embrace the truth, that reaping before the appointed time will irrefutably yield a fruitless harvest, we honor the complex concert of life, ensuring that its melodies will continue to resonate for generations to come.
