I spent over 20 years in the Social Justice ("Woke") cult, picking it up at Duke University in the late 1990s and then pushing the ideology through my work in the entertainment industry in comedy and TV. After a slow years-long process of waking up and leaving the cult, I started Deprogrammed as a series of interviews intended to better understand and make sense of my old belief system, Woke ideology, and it's rise to cultural dominance.
I help people leave the Woke cult by illuminating the ways it which it is NOT liberalism and by sharing the stories of those of us who've left it. I help parents, spouses, employees and other regular folks understand what Woke ideology is and how it operates in schools, churches, the workplace and society.
Deprogrammed is committed to fostering conversation, supporting individual liberties (free speech, private property rights, the 2nd amendment), helping people find meaning and purpose, and making space for both reason and faith.

Cults are all the rage in our modern age and most of them are thriving online. One need look no further than the Candtifa and Groyper cults to see cult characteristics like:
- an authoritarian and charismatic leader
- excessive devotion and unquestioning faith
- isolation and an "us" versus "them" mentality
- a high degree of information control
- manipulation and high-control tactics used to keep people on the hook
- financial exploitation
- mind-numbing techniques
- a sense of "special purpose."

The FDA is finally admitting that the Covid "vaccine" caused the deaths of no less than 10 children. Dr. Vinay Prasad, the FDA’s chief medical and scientific officer and the director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, said, “Healthy young children who faced tremendously low risk of death were coerced, at the behest of the Biden administration, via school and work mandates, to receive a vaccine that could result in death.”

Over the weekend, X rolled out a new feature exposing the country where each account was created, is based, and through which app store it's connected. This has resulted in some influential large-follower accounts self deleting, rather than risking exposure, and others being unmasked as based in Pakistan, Turkey, India and more. Other large-following accounts, like "Israel Exposed," which have claimed multiple times to be American, were revealed to be based in Saudi Arabia. Several high ranking groyper accounts are all foreign-based.

Yesterday on Timcast, Tim Pool seemed to arrive at an understanding that some of the choices made by some of the most influential voices on the "right" have lead to demoralization, division and might ultimately lead to the destruction of MAGA. Everyone seems to agree that we are in danger of losing elections, though there is disagreement on the source of this division. Even worse than elections, are the human souls at risk of being corrupted by a growing extremist fringe - an anti-MAGA, anti-Christian and anti-conservative ideology on the so-called "right."

Apophenia: the tendency to perceive meaningful patterns or connections between unrelated things. This cognitive bias is often driven by a desire for order and meaning, though excessive apophenia can be a symptom of certain mental health conditions.
You can understand why - in an age where all of our institutions have betrayed our trust, lied to us, gaslit us and caused us to reevaluate everything we know - some have been drawn to increasingly insane cults of belief for a false sense of security. I believe, absent a real foundation of God in our life, we will be more susceptible to this.

Have nothing to do with such people.
